I am a resident of Park Place of St. John. It's very good, but the money is very good too. You get three meals here, but I don't really need three meals but the breakfast is the best. For lunch and dinner, they could change it up once in a while. So, it's the same thing. It's a nice facility. We get entertainment. There's good entertainment. They have a pretty good staff in here, maybe a couple. You're always gonna get a couple that is the best. For the most part, they're pretty good. They help with showers and all that.

My mom was a resident of Park Place of St. John. The people were very friendly. There are a lot of activities going on that seniors could participate in. The staff was very helpful. There's always someone at the front desk or in the office. They answer questions. I think the only issue really that came up with my mom was related to her dog, and that wasn't so much a facility issue as it was her dog really wasn't suited for that type of setting. The food was good, but the portions were small for us. It's very clean, bright, updated, and the decor is very nice. Everything looked really good.

Dementia care horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible. Never trust your loved one to this place. They do nothing once they corral you in. Staff always sitting at desks either scrolling on their phones or laying their heads down on a desk, caught one sleeping.

A friend of mine lives in Park Place at St. John, so I know about the place from visiting her. She's in independent living. It's nice, they offer meals, and activities. The apartment she's in is really nice too, and the staff was really nice. They have the dining room where you sit and order your food, things like that. It has amenities, and stuff like that, it's very nice too. My friend is in a one-bedroom, with a nice, large bathroom. The living room is a nice size, and the bedroom is a nice size. The closet is a little walk-in closet, and the shower is very nice. She has someone that comes and cleans once a week. Everything's included, I believe, except for your phone bill. The cable is included. It's very nice, and she really likes it. She had a duplex home, and she downsized a little bit to that, and she really likes it. She doesn't miss taking care of a home. I've actually had dinner with her a couple of times. They can have a guest there, and you pay a little fee, I think it's $10 or $12, and you can sit down in the dining room and have dinner with them. So, I've done that, and that was nice. The staff greets you at the door; they were very nice. She goes to aerobics classes, they have arts and crafts that I've seen, and they have a bible study. I think she pays under $3,000 a month to stay there.

My parents were in the Park Place rehab facility in January. My father needed assistance with getting dressed and the staff refused to help him. Every time my mom came to see my dad the nurse would tell her to go back to her room. I feel like the neglect at this facility is pretty bad. The staff doesn’t care at all. I would never recommend this facility.

My Dad was a short-term stay resident in the rehab facility after a hospital stay. As soon as he arrived there, I was received an email and a phone call to discuss his needs. The email had phone numbers for the front desk, the nurses station, and his social worker. The nurse gave me her cell phone number right away and was texting with me through the first day and evening to be sure everything was set up and to reassure a worried daughter. Everyone I came into contact with at Park Place was kind, helpful and caring. The daily COVID email updates as well as follow up phone calls regarding any cases were very appreciated. All safety protocols were followed and I felt confident that Park Place was doing their best to keep all of the residents safe and healthy. Dad was well taken care of and he was always very happy on the phone and during an outside visit. His therapy went very well and I was informed about his progress weekly. Everyone, including the director, nurse and social worker were very prompt to reply to any email as well as any voicemail. Upon his discharge, I was given detailed discharge information as well as all necessary medications and prescriptions. Park Place also calls the caregiver for a few days after discharge to check on his progress at his new living arrangement. I highly recommend Park Place.

Worst communication you could ask for, when unable to see your loved one, and left in the dark, they will not give you any type of warm and fuzzy feeling. Far too many time to count when return calls were not made, or phone answered at all. Last occurrence I am called the day before my mother is to be moved to another facility, told transportation is a maybe but will let me know..never a call. I call to ask where my moms is..”oh sorry we forgot to call you and tell you we got transportation”..this is for a patient who can’t walk, semi has her thoughts and has no clue what’s going on. THANKS FOR MAKING THIS EXPERIENCE THE WORST I HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH!!! “Communication is key “...this works for any facet of life.

My mother is a resident at Park Place in St. John. We moved her from another facility & the difference is astounding. Kimberly was so attentive in finding the style of room my mother wanted & patiently answered all our questions & concerns regarding the current situation with COVID-19. The director, Beth, is always accessible & returns phone calls promptly. She communicates regularly with residents & family so there is never confusion about activities & policies. Maintenance has been prompt to assist my mother when called. The food quality & selection is excellent. Despite the restrictions COVID-19 has imposed on facilities, a variety of activities is still available to residents. The entire staff has an overwhelming attitude of compassion & patience for the residents they serve. It is truly a calling for them & not just a job. This gives family members peace of mind that is priceless.

My mom and dad moved in right after Park Place opened. They moved back to the area after retiring to North Carolina and didn't know anyone in the community. The staff and other residents were very welcoming, and the activities were great to help people to get to know each other. When my mom got sick, she went to both the rehab building and finally to the nursing center. Everyone was very wonderful to her and my dad. Now my dad has lived for over a year without my mom, and even with the Covid pandemic, he has been so glad he's in Park Place. They've taken good care of everyone. I appreciate the daily communications from Beth so I know he's in good care.

My father is a patient at The Skilled Rehab Nursing Facility. It's a nice small center. My father has received great care and his getting stronger after his stroke. He gets to make choices on his meals which he really likes; and if he doesn't like what is being served they have alternate choices. Friendly and helpful staff. Erin K. the Admission Director is wonderful; she returns calls promptly when i have left messages.

Park Place was just being built when I was there. It looked a bit messy, but there were not a lot of things lying on the ground because of that. The staff member showed me around, took me and showed me around, showed me the rooms, and told me about the place. It was a bit high priced, but they seemed to be doing pretty well.
