Celebration Villa of Newburgh was a very nice place. They were in the middle of doing some remodeling in the hallways. Very congenial people. It's a three-story building. However, my mom is 90 and I didn't want her to have to deal with going up and down an elevator and walking down long hallways and all that. It was a nice place, and I did consider them. The staff were congenial and they did a good job explaining things to me.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They asked several times if we had any questions or if we wanted to see anything else on the facilities. They had a craft room and singing activities. They were also willing to make a couple of changes to accommodate my mother, because their rooms were rather small, and they didn't have a lot of storage.

It was good. Everything seemed cleaned. The lady who gave the tour was also good and detailed. The memory care room was nice and spacious.

I went here and I like the family dining area, and everybody seemed very nice that was there, the residents and the staff. They walked me around, they showed me everything, and they were very thorough. The person that showed me around was very professional. I ate some muffins, and the muffins were good. I didn't have any drinks. They sent muffins home with me, and they were very good. The room had a small kitchenette, a refrigerator, a microwave, and then the kitchen sink.

It was a very nice facility. It was very clean, and everyone I spoke with was very informative and very good to talk with. The apartments and grounds were also very nice. Although I'm sure they train their staff there, I just don't think that they could provide us with a higher level of care (as far as having LPNs on staff).

I liked it and would have been my first choice for my mom. I thought the staff was very excellent. I live in Portland, Oregon, and before I went to Evansville to find a place for my mother, the staff had contacted me, set up a Zoom meeting, and a tour. Immediately she accommodated me before I even got there to have an onsite tour. She was very thorough. She introduced me to all her staff that was there. The facility was absolutely clean and beautiful. The studio, which I would have chosen for my mother, was clean. To me, it would have been my choice, except it was private pay and my mother could not accommodate it totally financially without outside assistance. They have movies and games. At the time I was touring, they were playing bingo in the dining room, and it was very relaxed. They have a great courtyard. I'm sure they have music and an entertainment room for movies. They have some seating areas. I remember some garden area just for sitting out and enjoying the weather. I did not get to eat the food or try the food, but I saw the preparations. The staff protected themselves with gloves while handling the food. The menu, from what I remember, was appetizing. It would be something that I would prepare in my own home for dinner.

They gave a good tour. The staff member was very informative and very inclusive, and she seemed to answer all my questions -- and then some questions that I didn't know I had! She also showed me all around and took me to a couple of rooms as well. The rooms were both on the second floor, they were both one-bedrooms, and they were nice. Their location was really good too. It's right off Interstate 69, which is really close to where I'm at now, so their location was good for me. The facility is very nice. They offered everything I was looking for, like a beauty salon, therapy, and that kind of stuff.

I toured and it was very nice, neat, and clean. They had a good facility. I think the layouts were fairly nice and would meet our needs. We looked at a one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and they showed us a studio, which was not what we would want. For the one-bedroom layout there were two layouts, and one would be more to our liking. One of them was only big enough for like a double bed, or you could fit a queen-size bed in there. We have a king-size bed, so we were looking for something that would fit that. And the other one would. They had quite a few different layouts that were there. The staff member was awesome. She was very informative and very cordial. She's ex military, so we got to talk about that a little bit. She was just very, very well informed about what we needed and looked at some of the things that were interesting for us. She took quite a bit of time with us so that we would understand what our options were and pointed out a lot of the different things that would be interesting for us, and that was very nice. The dining area was not serving while we were there, but it looked really nice. She introduced the chef, and when we left, they gave us a nice box of cookies that were very good. It was kind of a restful time when we were there. She introduced us to some people that were there and showed us the different areas, like the availability of health care and the laundry room. I think it was a nice facility. The only drawback that we didn't like was it didn't have a private patio that we liked. They had a common area where you could go ahead and share gardening with some other people, but no private area. That area they had outside was quite large, and you could go out there and and pretty much be by yourself if you wanted to, but it was more of an area that had chairs and things where you go and visit with people, which would be fine for me because I'm a visitor. My wife is more of a private person, and she would like an area where she can be by herself.

It had a nice presentation and they seemed good. It just seemed bigger and I wasn't sure if there's a nurse onsite all the time; it seemed more impersonal with the care that way. Other than that, it was a nice place. They were remodeling so it was hard to visualize it until it's done. I didn't interact with anyone other than the person who gave us the tour.

Overall, my relative is very happy here. However, there are problems from time to time. Recently, there was a mix up regarding whether or not my relative had ordered a meal, and she was in tears because of the way the staff treated her. The staff member even came to her door to show her the form which she filled out wrong. I can't believe somebody would treat my 90 year old relative like this, and that's not even taking into account the fact contact should be limited due to COVID. Luckily, my relative was able to get food with the help of another staff member.

We visited and they were very informative, answered any questions, and showed me several apartments. We got a great Dutch apple pie hot out of the oven, and they invited us to come out and have lunch. I was impressed. They showed me a studio and two-bedrooms with a bath and a half or two baths that were adequately sized and very nice. They served three meals a day and had a beauty salon and a barber shop. The staff had really good rapport with the tenants. Everyone seemed very friendly.

It had a newer and cleaner feel, the accommodations were very good, and it seemed to be a good facility. The tour guide was adequate. The dining area looked nice and inviting. I saw the exercise area, and I thought it was nice and they had a nice game room area.

I visited and they had multiple sizes of rooms. They had one or two bedrooms and studios. The staff treated me very well. I was very impressed. Their dining area was a restaurant setting with fixed meal times and additional menu service for non-meal time kind of diner. So, if you missed a meal, you could always order something off of a limited menu. They had excursion activities, local gaming activities, running activities, exercises, card games, bingo and social activities. I liked the place.

I went to visit and I thought it was really small. The cleanliness is fine. I just don’t like that it's small.

It is really nice. People feel like they are living in a community where they can be friends with other people there, so everybody seems happy. The dining room is nice.

It is a very beautiful facility. My husband’s parents are living on the second floor. They both have walkers, but there is an elevator. The dining room is on the ground floor, and the laundry facility is right down the hall from their little three-bedroom apartment. There are people that come in to check on them to make sure that they’re coming down for the meals and help them with the washing of their towels and linens. They have a lot of activities at the facility. We have received an invitation for a dinner that they’re having for family members next Thursday. The food is delicious; my father-in-law likes their dessert. He’s not used to having desserts that often, and now he really enjoys it. They feed them very well. This facility was recommended to us, and we would highly recommend it, too.

It is beautiful facility. It is very nice. The outside is very pretty. The inside is attractive. Their apartments are similar to the ones at the other facility I've looked at. Their dining room is very nice. Everything is nicely set up. The staff is extremely friendly and seems very caring. Everything in this facility is excessively nice. I would like my half-sister to be there; however, they don't take Medicaid.
