My mom is now in Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center. It's very, very nice, and all the people were very nice, helpful, and open. If you ask them any questions, they will answer you, so I can't say anything bad about it. The place is very clean and the staff is very professional. My mom's room is small, but that's all that she needs, and it's very nice. Their dining area is very clean, and the food looked like it was good. I have not tried it, but my mom says it's good. They have activities for the people there, like memory games, balloon volleyball, and things that they can stay active in. And they have musicians to come in a few times a week to play for them, whether it be a guitar or piano or whatever. Their staff goes above and beyond what they need to do to help. They are very expensive, but for us and our mom, it's well worth the money.

We liked Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center. It was very nice and very clean. They showed us a room. They showed us the area where they were doing games and stuff. The staff members were very interactive with the people. A lot of the residents were doing crafts, some of them were sitting around sleeping and some of them were walking around.

Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center was a wonderful place. The only thing I like least about it is it's very expensive, but everything about it seemed what I wanted. They're very caring. There's a proper amount of supervision like checking on my mother and stuff. I just like the whole concept. All they have is an Alzheimer's unit and that's what my mom has. What I saw was good. The lady who gave us the tour was very knowledgeable. I didn't talk to any of the staff other than her. We saw the residents there and they all seemed well taken care of. It's very upbeat and light, and I liked the main rooms or their eating rooms. It was glass all around where you could see what was going on all the time. They have a courtyard and a hair salon, and they have live music every week. I have a calendar that tells me what's going on every day and the week to come. We could come and visit between 8:00 and 8:00 every day.

I had a lovely tour of Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center. It was a very nice facility and the lady that gave me the tour was very informative. The place seemed very warm and welcoming. The rooms seemed pretty nice. I was surprised when I got there because they were more like a hotel room with just a bed and a bathroom, but they seemed very pleasant and very sunny. I liked the size of the facility. It seemed like they were well staffed.

I have chosen Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center for my mom. It's really like an assisted living center with medical care, which is exactly what she needs. The upkeep was excellent. The staff was really good and answered all my questions. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about Alzheimer's. When I was there, they were doing activities.

Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center was very, very nice. The place looked sparkling. The inside court was nice, too. Some people looked to be doing artwork and they also had several other things that people could do throughout the day. The rooms were spacious and they looked very, very nice. I liked the bathroom because it had the handles for the shower to help you get in and get out. Everything's so immaculate. The lady I talked to was very, very helpful.

I liked the Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center but my brother couldn't have his cat there. I like the fact that they are a medical facility too and they dispense medications. They also have a registered nurse. It's a memory care and it's so more open so he could walk around. He was a runner previously. It's only six years old, so it's still very nice and it's very open. I like the way it was open with hallways where they can walk in and go around and lots of community spaces where they can visit. I like that they eat their meals in the dining room and they do not eat in their rooms. They say they do a lot of activities too and try to keep people out and not just sitting in their rooms. It was very nice. The main drawbacks for me were that my brother would not be able to have his cat and his age to other people's ages there. The other people's ages are probably more normal than he is being there. The staff is very friendly and informative. The rooms were nice too furnished with a bed and a nightstand. You just have to provide any other furniture, like if you wanted a recliner or a couch and your own TV and stuff like that. They're a nice size and you either have your own bathroom or you share a bathroom with one other person. The dining area is very open and very nice. The facility looked like it was very well maintained. They told me they have a barbershop and all kinds of activities. They showed me the rooms where they could have visitors. They have an outside area also that they can go into.

I visited Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center and I loved it. They're a very clean, cozy facility. Everybody seemed very professional and very nice. The residents were nice; I talked to a few of them. The one thing that really got me is that it's cozy, and they can stay there until the end of life. They have a medical nurse or medical professional that is on-call all the time, like a doctor or a nurse that can administer drugs also. Everyone else can give them the medicine, open the container for them, but they can't give it to them.

My dad has only been in Walnut Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center for a little bit now, but so far, so good. We can't go in right now so we haven't seen his room, but the communication has been pretty good. I haven't really got to meet anybody just because of coronavirus. They haven't really given me any updates as far as how he is adjusting, but I did talk to them the other day. I made the phone call and spoke with a nurse, and she was super polite. I spoke with my dad the other day and he said the food was pretty good, but their portions were just about enough to taste. It seems super nice, and the facility is absolutely beautiful. The office manager and a nurse were both super nice and super helpful, and they answered our questions too.

My wife moved into Walnut Creek Alzheimer's unit two weeks ago. So far, we've been very satisfied with it. The staff is very good and specially trained in memory care. So far, she has assimilated into it well, and I've been pleased with that. The location is fine. It's almost a brand-new facility, and they've done a very good job making it not be an institutional-looking facility. She is in a double room, and it will probably work better for her to have someone else there with her. She's an open person who likes to have others around, so I think that will work fine. The price is in the realm of what others are unless you get into one of the full long-term cares. I liked the idea that they have 24/7 nursing, which some of the others do not. The staff is very good and very caring. My wife is very picky, but it's not their fault. The food is as good as we can ask for at this time.
