My mother's at Majestic Care Connersville. It's clean and well taken care of. They have service available to the people there, so they're not there alone. If they need help, there's help available if something goes wrong. The person who assisted me during the tour was very helpful. She was very informative and understanding. I liked working with her. She was very helpful in trying to find a solution. My mother likes the food. She's been there for a few weeks now, and she enjoys the food they give her. She's been sick for a little while because she fell a couple of times, and she's better now. I don't know what activities are there, because I haven't been involved in that part. But the staff was very helpful, understanding, and courteous.

The care that Majestic Care (Lincoln Center) for my husband is good. His room is always clean, and the bed is always made. From what I have seen, the food seems good. He doesn't participate in the activities much, but they try to get him to do cornhole in his chair and read him crosswords and stuff to try and get him to answer. So far I like it the best of any of the senior communities. They have an outside facility where they can plant things, and go out there in the summertime. I think they are very caring and do a great job.

The staff was amazing and really seemed to care about the people living there. There was not only physical therapy, but art therapy as well. They tried really hard to make the residents feel as if they belonged. They had picnics and parties where family members were invited. The nurses took special care to make sure that my grandmother had everything she needed to feel comfortable. It was an Alzheimer's unit, so it was very important that the staff was caring and helpful.

It's a comfortable, warm facility in a very rural area. I always felt at ease whenever visiting my relatives there, it was never an uneasy, hospital feeling. My grandmother had a series a of strokes, which rendered her unable to speak, so they made her as comfortable as possible. Grandfather had a series of cardiac episodes, again, they kept him as comfortable as possible up to the very end. My great aunt's decline was quick and unfortunate, but as she was already familiar with the facilities (my grandfather was her "baby" brother) the transition was not a rough one. My brother and I were not exposed to the stereotypical horrors" of nursing home living. The attendants and nurses went out of their way to accommodate us and made us feel welcome, which was a blessing, considering we were both very worried about our grandma, great aunt and grandpa at the time!

When my grandma wasn't able to take care of herself anymore we had no choice but to move her into a nursing home. We looked at several, but Lincoln Centers was the only one that made us feel like she would not only be taken care of, but befriended. It was, and is, important to us that she feel like she's with family. It was a very hard decision, but the staff at this nursing home is incredible. I've gotten to know a lot of the residents, and I don't know any that want to leave. I'm very thankful for Lincoln Centers, and everything that they have done for us.

My overall experience with Lincoln Center was average. The facilities were decent, not bad but could have been better. Every room was equipped with a television, small but nice, and adjoining bathroom. The dining area was rather nice, with plenty of seating. The food, however, was quite unappetizing. We often had to take food in for my grandmother because it was so awful. Also, she was on a gluten free diet, not by choice but by necessity, and these requirements were often not met. The staff often claimed that she did not need to be on the diet, or that it was not on her requirements. From my understanding there were many opportunities for activities that the residents could do for fun or exercise. There was the typical BINGO and checkers that I expected, but also Wii Sports, which was unusual and exciting. While it could have been better it could have been much, much worse.
