Riverview has had many positive changes over the last year. There is a strong desire to be a 5 star community and I feel that is a very obtainable goal for them. My family member could not have received better care anywhere else in the surrounding area and was happy there until the day she passed on. Dementia is a very complicated disease, loving someone through it at times is painful, but the staff at Riverview have their hearts in the right place! Activities and atmosphere are awesome!… just ask the residents!

Crowded rooms. Poor staff/resident ratio. Food is usually cold. Gnats/flies in rooms.

I'm a resident at Riverview village and I would like other families to know that they do care and they take care of us real good even on the days we don't feel like it they love us and show us what greatly respect they keep us clean we shower male or female but this is the best place that I can have come to I was once on my back and couldn't walk with today I walk and I'm talking and then the facility and the people that work here they treat me with the utmost respect if you if you would like a place to bring your loved ones bring them here at Riverview village see you when you get here.

My brother-in-law moved into Riverview Village. He's in memory care. It was very clean, everybody was friendly and helpful. His room is very small, but everything was clean and neat and everything was put away and it was nice. I saw them playing bingo. I haven't had that many dealings with them, but everybody's been very nice. The staffers are all very pleasant. They did have a beauty salon, and we did go out in the courtyard when they were playing bingo. As far as his room, we took a bunch of pictures and things, but they said they would hang them. So we haven't seen that happen yet.

This building has recently gone through some major changes in Management. The positive changes are very apparent! The quality of care is top notch. I would reccommed Riverview Village to everybody. They care about the patients and the staff are all very respectful. I was nervous about my family member being here due to the star rating, but I have been very pleasantly surprised. The enviornment is very clean and its obvious that the patients are happy and well taken care of.

My brother was in Riverview Village for many years. He was happy up there, and he got along with everybody. If he ever had any problem, they always called me. If I had a problem with something that was going on, I called them or went up there, and we straightened it out. He made a lot of friends. It was a good place. He was in a two-bedroom, and he had no problem that I know of. The rooms were nice, and the temperature of the room was kept satisfactory to me. The laundry was done properly. They helped him with his food because he was paralyzed on one side. He went to physical therapy when he could, but he didn't really participate in any recreational things.

The staff is friendly and the facility seems clean, etc. The care seems a litlte lacking and it's very difficult to get answers in a prompt manner. They also waited way too long to get my mother emergency medical care when she had pneumonoia and she ended up spending several days longer than she might have in the hospital if they had acted sooner. I get the impression that the staff is spread a little thin to really give the best care to the number of patients they have.

This home I have found is so caring for residents and concerns about their needs.I put my sister there 1/1/2 years ago. She feels very much at home. They show her lots of attention. Have lots of actitives. The directors are of high standards. The management always has time for questions. I would highly recommend for your friends and loved ones. Sincerely , Josephine Rigney
