I toured River Crossing Assisted Living. It is for assisted living, but the level of care my mom needs is a little bit higher than what they can provide. The director of nursing and their marketing coordinator were extremely kind and helpful, and provided a lot of information and a well-rounded tour of the campuses. It was not too big, not too small, but it was clean. It had ample services and amenities for like activities, and spaces for gathering. The rooms were nice. We met with a couple of residents. They just happened to be passing us in the hallway. They gave us good feedback, and they liked it there.

What I liked the most about River Crossing Assisted Living was that they've made some arrangements to go meet my mom where she is now, and talk to her about coming. I liked that a lot. When we visited the place, the rooms may be a little smaller as far as square footage, but I really liked the way they're laid out. It's not like a living room and bedroom combination. The rooms are separated. So, even if it's a little smaller, they make better use of the space. They also have a nice little dining area.

Jackie warmly welcomed my friend and I, explaining the various room options, financing, and resident activities. She then gave us a tour of a model. Jackie also explained the paperwork process and timing of available rooms. She was very personable and answered our questions!

We went to the River Crossing Assisted Living. The person who talked with us was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful, and also the best that we saw. There was a feeling of community about the place and the people there seemed common to each other, and just common folks. It was clean. They had homes that had a patio. It's well kept.

We had a very good visit to River Crossing such that I would probably move forward and try to place my father there. I was very impressed with the facility, and the director was amazing. She took me through the community, all my questions were answered very clearly, and she followed up via phone. I was able to see a room that had a kitchenette, the dining area, the exercise area, the visiting room, the common areas, and pretty much everything that I was allowed to see. I have been very, very pleased with the facility. Some of the rooms have their own individual patios, and there is a common ground that is landscaped with a paved pathway. There is no pool or anything like that, but it's very clean, and they have beautiful common areas.

River Crossing's building itself is not new but the people were caring. The staff who assisted me during the tour was helpful, and willing to come on their day off and showed us whatever we asked for. There were people playing cards in the dining area. The facilities were older and smaller compared to others as far as the activity room, but there were people participating.

River Crossing was very friendly and accommodating, but it wasn't as clean as it should be, and the apartments are very small. The staff was very friendly. The activities calendar looked very good. I just wasn't overly impressed with the facility.

We really liked River Crossing; it was very clean, stylish, and modern-looking. They had a lot of activities that were scheduled that my mother-in-law really was interested in. The people were very friendly. Overall it was a really nice visit; we really liked it. We liked the location, and I like the room where they had a big TV, a game room, and on the calendar it showed where they take the residents to different activities outside the facility, and all of those seems really nice. My mother in law really enjoyed looking through the calendar. We met one of the chefs as we were going out, and she talked to us quite a bit about the food and the dietary. She was impressed with him as well.
