My dad’s stay started out ok. On the day my brother and I were to have a conference call with Physical Therapy to discuss my dad’s progress. The phone call did not happen. I text my brother only for him to call me to say the they had lost dad. The whole time the call was to have been going on they could not find my dad. Someone told my brother he mY be at a doctor appointment. Later my mom found him in the family room and went to take him back to his room and was told she could not. She said she was too. My dad told my mom the he asked twice that morning to go to his room and was told no both times. The day we had our conference call. But it was with the social worker who could not tell us anything about physical therapy. But did tell us her insurance lady did think my dad would be kick out the next out week. Then then the next day we were told we had to move out of our nice semi private room to a very small semi private. The tv is a side wall. His walker is now missing and he did not have a water pitcher for 24 hours.

Negative no stars. In was there for 12 days for rehab after a complete knee replacement. The rehab was ok but not great. The food was less then poor. The nursing staff don't get to you in a timely fashion to assist you to the bathroom even if you get up and the special alarm goes off to warn them that you are up and out of bed. When you press the call button they answer over an intercom but help doesn't arrive for about a half hour. My medication wasNEVER given at the right time as prescribed. I had a water leak from the ceiling onto my bed and it took 3 days to get it fixed. And then only after I called the ADMEN every 10 minutes on the 3rd day and threating to report them. Even after telling every nurse and LPN. The staff treat people with disrespect and disregard. I would not trust them with the cate of a dead goldfish. Don't go there!!!!!

My Dad received very poor care in rehab at Heritage. They did not get him out of be except for therapy which negates the purpose of rehab. He ate most meals from bed and received almost no assistance despite having a weakness in his hand and swallowing difficulty that made it very difficult. He lost over 20 pounds. They did not develop his care plan in a timely manner and said they were going to do things that never got done. They did not train staff to transfer him and then wouldn't help him learn to transfer because there was not enough trained staff. He regularly had to wait over a half hour for someone to come when he called.

My mother was at Heritage Health Therapy for quite a few years in the Alzheimer’s unit, so we were familiar with that, and dad was just there for rehab. The cleanliness and the kindness of the staff really stood out. She was in a private room for a while; she has a private bathroom and very nice big open window, and she could bring personal things in. There is a telephone in her room. Meals were included while she was there, and the food portions were good. She can order whatever she wanted.

The entrance was nice. The staff were courteous. Heritage Health didn't take my husband because they had elevators. I have gone to visit somebody, and there were two in a room. They're not that big, but the place seemed to be clean.

My mother is in Heritage Manor. She has only been there for a couple of weeks, and she seems to like it there. It is clean and nice -- better than a couple of places we looked at. There were very nice and helpful people there. They're just average nursing home rooms. Other people seemed to like the food, but my mother is picky, so she wouldn't like it no matter where she is. We chose it because they take Medicaid.
