My mother has moved into Savoy Reflections. I love how it doesn't look like a stark nursing home. The common area is in the center of the building, and when you look at everybody's rooms, they all face this common area, and they all look like little cottages. Each one is decorated like its own little house. It just is homey in there and cheery. It's just not a blank, stark hallway. Everything is included in the price and they have all kinds of amenities. Laundry is included and housekeeping. Giving medications isn't extra. It's just a nice place. They have a salon. They don't have a whole room that's a library, but they have books available.

Me, my brother and sister in law selected this place for our cognitively disabled parents last spring June 2022 and just took them out July of 2023 after a primary lead caregiver left this place went down hill fast. Recent issues include a half naked lady in my moms bed with poo smeared all over their floor and bathroom and it took them days to clean and sanitize properly. They were to have podiatry come and care for my moms feet and when we picked her up yesterday her toe nails were dangerously and painfully long about an inch. Wish I could post a photo here it would make you cry. Please evaluate this place carefully the urine smell is terrible as well it was not like this when we signed up last year up to about Jan/Feb this years it’s had a rapid decline with much of the staff giving off an “I don’t care vibe.” I hope for the families that still have loved ones there they clean up their act again quickly!

My mom is at Savoy Reflections and I don't think they get the quality of care there that they need. The nurse there has lied to us many times, and I'm just not happy with her response to things. They're not what I expect of a staff. You go in the door and there's nobody there at the desk when you need somebody to talk to. You have to wait. You don't receive a call. Calls don't go through as well and so forth. They have activities, but I think they could do more. They have a salon though and the food is just fair.

Savoy Reflections was awful. There's lack of communication with the staff and with the nurse. It's like they don't communicate with each other. We had meds that were thrown away that I had taken in. We had pieces of metal equipment that they broke, and this is all within five weeks. They were supposed to start music therapy, and I had taken her turntable and albums in. They said that I needed to bring in some albums, and I explained to them I brought them in the same time, but they put those behind the front register desk in a corner, and didn't take them back. It's been awful. I gave them notice on the 16th that we were moving her out on Sunday, and I'm also going to file with the State everything that happened with them. They only have six people in the unit that mom is on, and they should be informing me of stuff. She had blood in her stool. I don't even know if the nurse knew about that. They're putting two diapers on her at night because of the accidents, and she's on two different types of stool softeners once as needed. Why they didn't stop that is beyond me. It's been a nightmare. She's on hospice. She fell, and they didn't inform the hospice nurse which they should've, so they could immediately get out there and make an assessment. The only reason why they found out is because I called the hospice nurse concerned about how swollen her legs were. I would not recommend that place to anybody. With this Covid, they wouldn't let us into her apartment. We could only have a visit with her outside, and we had to make an appointment 24-48 hours ahead of time. The building is absolutely beautiful, and the apartments are very nice. The director is out of touch with her staff, and I even know the director, that's why I was so excited to put her in, but I was so disappointed. The aides were very polite with what I saw with my mom, and that was only them bringing her outside then taking her back. They were pleasant, but how they treated mom inside or anything like that, I don't know. It wasn't told to us at Reflections that with the patient that's on hospice, two people at a time can go into their actual apartments and visit them. That wasn't offered to us until Wednesday.

Savoy Reflections was excellent. I liked the rooms and the setup. They had rooms around the outside of the facility and there was a main area where they did the dining and the activities, which would encourage the residents to get out and to participate in activities and mingle with people. The staff was very knowledgeable, very informative, and very sincere in the answers to the questions that I had for him. The facility was well thought out and very cheerful.

Savoy Reflections was very nice and looked great. The staff who toured us around was very polite, courteous, and answered all our questions. The place had two divisions separated by a center section, 24 residents in each of the north and south wings. Some of the rooms were double, and some were separated or partitioned, and some were singles, so you have a wide variety of options.
