My mother in law was here for a short term because this nursing home told my wife that her mom was released from Therapy and was discharged from there to home without seeing how she did at home. Which she couldn't even get around her apartment. Plus the nursing home didn't even educate her on how to check her sugar levels and didn't teach her how to give herself insulin when needed. Which as a result of this happening my mother in law had to have an emergency appointment with her doctor and he said that she shouldn't of been released from there because she can no longer care for herself and had to be admitted to another nursing home. Plus I had an aunt there and within an hour she had a fall and bruised up one side of her face. So if I had to take any more family members to a nursing home I would definitely not be picking this one when obviously they don't pay attention to their residents and don't know how to care for loved ones. The staff doesn't interact with the residents, the rooms and building is very nice but seems like a dark cloud over the place.

Liberty Village was very nice. They offer transitional care. They wouldn't have to move the residents that would progress to a different level of care from an assisted living to nursing home or Alzheimer's unit.
