My mom is still in rehabilitation. She is at Lemont Center. It's a great facility. From what I can tell, the people that work there are fantastic. I haven't been able to visit it, so I have no idea but we're happy with it so far. I don't know the description of the place. With the COVID19, we can't get in to see anything, but my mom seems to be somewhat happy there. Obviously, she wants to come home. I talked to the therapist, my mom seems to be doing well, and they seem to be taking good care of her. The nurses are very accommodating and informative when I call. She is in a private room. They're doing cognitive therapy and physical therapy. They have a beauty salon and ice cream parlor, but all of that have been closed because of COVID19.

The every day workers, the aides, are well intentioned but poorly trained. Seral of her caretakers were not aware that my sister has dementia. Twice while I was there, the aide would have closed her diaper on red beginnings of bed sores if I had not insisted they get and apply ointment. She left without a sore on her bottom, but had a serious open wound on her ankle bone . She was found in smelly pajamas several times. The staff failed to used the gait belt to move her although reminded often when I was there. The staff changes almost every day, and there is no one consistently in charge of her care. Her teeth were missing when she was leaving, and have not been found. She was missing when family came to prepare her for leaving! No one at the desk knew where she was and then were told she had left. If there was a single person was responsible for oversight of each patient such a mess would not happen. I was at the home for 1-1/2 to 2 hours almost every day of my sister's stay.

My mother is currently doing rehab at Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I'm not very fond of it. It sometimes smells a little bit. My mom's room is ok, and the upkeep is fair, but it's not as clean as I would like it. The food is ok, and the staff is friendly. I would suggest that they make it cleaner. In terms of cost, it's being paid for by Medicare.

I had to give this facility one star - not given the choice of none. This facility is a not a place you would want you loved one cared for. For Physical Therapy (rehabilitation) it is great for general nursing care it is deplorable. Some, not all CNA staff are rude and do not have care and compassion for the residents. Loved one is left lying in urine for hours, call buttons are placed out of reach of the resident. This facility was not one of my top choices upon my loved one's release from the hospital but the only one with an open bed. Trust me from my experiences there DO NOT trust this facility to care for your loved one. Beware - Trust me DO NOT have a loved one admitted to this facility. They say they provide "respect and dignity' for their residents trust me they DO NOT. I didn't have a choice but hopefully after reading this you do.

Staff is not professional. When I called them they were very rude and kept saying ‘ummm don’t know ‘. I was shocked. Think twice before you choose this facility

Looking for a rehab/nursing facility for a loved one? Look no further . This is a special place. Clean, no odors and a fantastic staff. They offer activities daily for the residents. I wish to thank all the nurses, PA"s, CNA"s, physical therapists, food service people and all the other departments we encountered during my husbands stay. Special shout out to Melissa, Judy, Nathan and Jill. You all are terrific as well as your fellow workers

My grandma was in this facility for rehab after she broke her hip. They were GREAT! We visited her every day and sometimes she said she was too busy with her friends in activities to see us. The staff were very attentive to her needs even when she was extra crabby because of the pain. She cried when she was discharged because she said she would miss everyone. She has been in 2 rehab facilities before for different reasons but this facility was by far the best. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place for their family member!

I was in Lemont Nursing Home for rehab for two weeks. Rehab was fantastic. All of the nurses and the nurse's aides were very nice. However, they used curry in all their food, and I just don't like curry. It was just horrible. At first, I didn't like the place at all. I didn't care for the place. There were some old people sitting around in wheelchairs, and it kind of scared me. Then, I got used to the place; the staff was so friendly and obliging. They had bingo and other activities that I didn't participate in because I was too busy with the rehab.

My mom is at Lemont Nursing & Rehab Center. She has been there for about three weeks now. The nursing care is very nice. Most of the CNAs are very nice too. It is not a hospital; it is like a community.

My mother was at Lemont Nursing & Rehab Center for rehabilitation. The appearance was really good, and the staff were very nice, very responsive, and caring. They did an excellent job of caring for my mother. I have no complaints.

I came to this place for therapy for my hip. I was in and out in 2 weeks and couldn't be more pleased. The menu is wonderful, and they gave me anything I asked for. The nurses and aides were so nice and helpful. Everyone there is so friendly and willing to do whatever needs to be done. There were a lot of folks there for therapy, and we were all very pleased with the services we received. I would highly recommend this place.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I can't even believe they people they have working here, so unprofessional. The fact that grandma has been soaked in urine on different occasions and the CNAs have the nerve to say I have no reason to mad. The rehab is a joke. They clearly don't know how you're suppost to move someone after they had hip surgery. I feel bad for the patients they have here that have to put up with this rude, rough staff.

I have visited this facility many times and have found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. The facility has a wonderful courtyard that has been so nice in the warmer weather for visiting. We have also had the opportunity to have a few meals with our loved one. The menu has a very nice variety and the soups are home made daily! Everything was delicious. I have been very encouraged with the communication and quality of the care provided to my loved one. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for short term or long term care!

My parent is a current resident. The resident areas smell of urine. The staff, nurses and aids, do not respond to the call light in a timely manner. I have personally seen a nurse verbally abuse multiple residents. Personal property is not safe. The administration responds positively and appears to be helpful but there is absolutely no follow through. If I could give this facility 0 stars, I would. Please, if you have any alternative, do not subject anyone to this disrespectful, unhealthy environment.

I moved my mother-in-law into Lemont Nursing and Rehab Center. They have a hospital environment, and they have nursing care there. The staff is unbelievably different. You walk in and there are nurses everywhere. There are aides everywhere. The hallways are busy. In the rehab unit, they are constantly with people, working. They found a bedsore on her immediately, within 24 hours, and called me. When you walk in, the staff are very apparent. They have been much more aware and had even have her stay at the nurse's station at night when she can't sleep. They have followed instructions with medications very specifically. It's just a different atmosphere.

My mother has been at this facility several times in the past few years, and has recently returned home in December. This past stay was the best yet! They have a new treadmill that is amazing, and helped her recover from this knee so quickly. They have done renovations, and it is a beautiful place. The staff took great care of her, and the new chef has made such a difference in the food. I have recommended them several times, and would do it again. I had my Dad in another facility, so I have been to a few. Lemont Center is the best!

My mother was a patient there for several months and i visited her almost daily at different times. She did not like it there and neither did i ! most of the nurses were very cold and rough in all ways as i saw . My mother would have her soiled diaper on for hours and not untill i complained did they change with an attitude. A male nurse by the name of John was very nice and caring but , that was about it.The food was terrible and smelled bad. I would bring her my own food as she was unable to theirs.Would not have anyone go there !!!

The facility was a one star. My family member was malnourished and so unhappy there we had to move her. She fell several times, smelled of urine if you showed up unexpectedly and did not receive medical attention for many weeks for simple infections. Do due diligence and read Medicare reviews for the large number of citations each year. Two governments sites give it one and two star for a reason. It is not right that they are allowed to get away with such low ratings and stay open. Go in yourself and see. Sit at a meal and ask yourself if you could stand to be there.

The facility is clean enough. Most nurses and CNA'S are pleasant. They try to help but have 9-11 people to care for so not always available right away. Rehab staff did a really great job! This facility does not have your meds available for you when you arrive. They have to order and get delivered the next day from out of town. OUCH! Also, sad to say the food gets a rating of 1 out of 5. The quality of the food is not good! Good nutrition would have helped with the rehab and healing.

My grandfather was in the nursing home section with hospice at the Lemont Center. The staff was nice and informative, but never went out of their way to provide care. The nurses did their jobs very well, but I did not see the personalized attention that some patients may need.

My Father has been at this facility 4 times and we have nothing but good things to say about it. His visits had always been for at least 3 months due to the amount of rehab he needed. He received wonderful care from the facility and the staff was very helpful. We may have to consider nursing home care for him in the future and would not hesitate to choose this facility.
