I cannot express enough how wonderful The Pearl of Joliet has been for our family. From the moment we arrived, the care and compassion shown by the entire staff were truly remarkable. The facility is clean, welcoming, and feels like a home away from home. A special thanks to Mykael and Kristal, who went above and beyond in their roles. Mykael's attention to detail and genuine care made us feel supported and understood during a very challenging time. Kristal's warmth and dedication brought a sense of comfort and peace that was invaluable. Their professionalism and kindness have made a lasting impact on us. The Pearl of Joliet is a beacon of hope and care in the community. We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional service and support provided. Thank you, Mykael, Kristal, and the entire team, for making a difficult journey a bit easier with your compassion and excellence.

My mother-in-law is at The Pearl of Joliet. They have dialysis in-house there, and she needs it every other day. It's comfortable. It's a little bit dated, but it's clean and comfortable. Currently, she does rehab. There's a rehab facility there and then she does dialysis there. The staff has been pretty good. They have a community room where they get together a couple of times a day. The food is good. The building is dated, so they probably need to update it a little bit. The activities are kind of limited to just that one community room, so they could expand on that a little bit just to see something different.

The Pearl of Joliet is excellent. The staff here is very knowledgeable and nice. They are very helpful and very personable. The facility is in excellent condition. The food is very good. It's very, very, clean and very orderly. The residents are nice, too.

I normally do not write reviews but I came upon this page. My mom has been at this facility for 5 years in the Special Care Unit, meaning she has Alzheimer's. This facility has changed drastically, all for the good, with better management within the building. The nurses and CNAS give 110% and can only do so much for ailing individuals. If people would research how the State works while your loved ones are in a rehab or nursing home you would understand how difficult their jobs really are. Be patient, as everyone at Symphony of Joliet, works very hard to make your family memebers at home. And last, visit your loved ones instead of dropping the off, and you will see how it all works.

My mother has been in the Special Care Unit at Symphony of Joliet for about 5 months. I have watched the staff work very patiently and caring with her and with other residents also. I realize that they have a difficult job and I know that I could not sustain a pleasant attitude everyday under the kind of pressure they endure, but somehow they seem to manage it. They deserve to be respected and appreciated as well as to be paid well although I also appreciate that the cost of this kind of 24 hr care is more expensive than many families can afford and Symphony tries to keep the costs down for all of us. They accept Medicaid and I learned that some other facilities do not. This is a great help. No one wants to put their loved one in a Nursing Home, but when you can't take care of the person yourself it is a comfort to know that you can trust such a group as there is at Symphony of Joliet.

My Mom stayed at Symphony for 3 months after bone cancer surgery. All of the staff were great and caring. She actually was teary eyed when she went home.

Terrible experience for my loved one. My family calls this facility HOTEL CALIFORNIA...check in any time you like but you can never leave. Actually, you can leave by ambulance which is what my mom did. The social worker, administrator and Dr refused to allow home health planning. We were successful arranging this thru the hospital - thank goodness. Very rude demanding payment since my mom was a self-pay. When I tried to obtain her meds we paid for thru their pharmacy, they refused to speak with me. By them refilling her meds and KEEPING THEM, insurance said it was too soon for us to refill. Big hassle. These folks lied numerous times, and were thieves in keeping meds we had to pay for. The saddest experience was the administrator telling me my mom had several mortalities so just leave her parked in the room and walk away. I would not recommend this place to any living creature!

My mother in law is in this facility. The family has caught the staff being very cold and rude to the patients. It's not everyone but they need to weed out the bad apples.

My mother is now in rehab at Symphony of Joliet. So far, the care is excellent, and we’re very pleased. They’re pretty thorough. It’s clean, and they keep you informed on what’s going on.

My dad has been at Symphony of Joliet for a while now. The place is clean. I'm not really excited about the nursing home, but I know nursing homes are not a really good place. They have a high turnover rate as far as the workers, but there are a few good nurses there that I liked. The food is terrible that is why I try to bring dad food as much as I can.
