My aunt has moved into Sunny Hill. So far, I have been happy with it. They're a county-owned nursing facility. They seem very caring and staff is good. They have been there a long time. The aide that takes care of my aunt's room has been there for 15 years, which I think is a long time, which says something about the place. Food looks good and there's variety. They also have alternative menu every day, like they can have hotdog, grilled cheese, or chicken fingers. It is served buffet style too. My aunt hasn't been there a week yet, but she got to experience something really lovely last Friday, her second day there. They had a hot wax spa hand massage that they get to experience after lunch. They also have performers that come in and sing, they have bingo, a salon, and they have an ice cream parlor that is open every day. From what I have observed, activities are very good. I have been very impressed with the staff. However, it is more expensive. They do have assistance there that if you run out of money, they will help you with Medicaid, so that's a good thing.

My Mom has been a resident at Sunny Hill for the past 4 years and in my opinion they do an outstanding job of caring for their residents in a clean and vibrant facility. Having recently completed a total remodel, the facility is clean, bright and sunny from the moment you walk through the front door. The activities are excellent and appropriate to all interests. The staff is friendly and caring. The administration is top notch ensuring the safety and security of the residents in this Resident Centered facility.

My mom has been at Sunny Hill Nursing Home for about a month now. They have every activity for the residents. She is doing therapy, and she is doing a lot better. She has gotten a couple of friends, and it couldn’t have been any better. The food is good.

The staff is very friendly and the facility is clean. I had a bad experience with my wife's grandma and her facility smelled and was dirty. I did not want that same thing to happen to my grandma so we did our research on our family came to an agreement after we weighed the positives and negatives of each facility. There were some family members that did not like the facility we chose and at times the discussion became heated. We were all emotional at time and we had a tough time picking one place. We all what was best for our grandma. The facility we chose has twenty four hour nursing care and that was one of the big selling points. The facility has been in operation for over 30 years and the reviews we found online were mostly positive. We have no regrets about our choice. All of us wish grandma could have stayed at home however she can no longer live without assistance.
