It is like a family there! A kind, Christian community. My uncle and aunt were cared for so very well and they were happy there to the very end of their lives. Our family highly recommend them!

On the tour, showed very well. At the onset, everyone seemed nice and caring When the time came to access my father, they canceled the first appointment 5 minutes before we were due to leave for the in person meeting, then should up almost 2hours late for the second meeting when I had already left after leaving work early early and waiting for 2 hours before I left. Nurse shows up, when my father is sundowning at 4::30 had been sleeping and then blame him for being aggressive when someone he doesn’t know just shows up and sits next to him and starts asking questions I guess memory care is not Victorian Villages forte…I would think they would know better, but apparently not Very sad that this is how they treat potential residents and their families as we are not going through enough already. Please do better and show some compassion and respect to families in the future..outward appearances and a fresh coat of paint does not make how we were treated ok. No apology no phone call, no explanation…oh perhaps now I might get one, have been playing phone tag with the Director..she doesn’t answer her phone, you have to leave a message and she will call you back Par for the course I guess. I guess with memory care, it’s OK to be treated less than…just another segment of elderly people tossed to the side.

We went to Victorian Village. The staff were very nice, answered our questions and they would call back. The rooms were very nice and clean and they were big enough for what we need.

I would have liked to know ahead of time (before my relative moved here) that the meals are not restaurant quality OR experienced chef prepared as Victorian Village's website states. A ham and cheese sandwich with potato chips is not healthy! The residents are told to eat in their apartments on weekends. Many residents do not have a table in their apartment because they were told they were to have meals in a dining room. Not always the case. This routine is getting OLD.

My dad moved from a 4-bedroom house to a studio apartment here 2 1/2 years ago. He loves it. There are people to interact with, supervised exercise, a beautiful dining room with good food, where you order your meal as you would in a restaurant. He has a full kitchen (he likes to bake) and a huge closet - plenty of room he says. The staff are very friendly and helpful and everything is clean and updated. They have church services, wii bowling, bingo, trips on the bus. Communication with families is very good. As I said, Dad loves it and we (the children) feel very comfortable with him there.

My mother has moved into Victorian Village. It's very clean and well organized. The food is good. The staff is very good. They have a little dining hall and a little get-together place out in front of the building. They have physical therapy, they do Bingo and Wii bowling, and they have a bus that will take them shopping. They had a Christmas party last week, and they had kids come in from different high schools and did musicals.

Victorian Village is a very nice place. The staff is friendly. They're open and upfront and very helpful in the decision process. It's a nice, well-maintained facility that has a full set of amenities. The staff seems to be working well with each other. The place is clean, well maintained, and in a good neighborhood. We overall had a very good experience with them. It's in a very nice location, which is in the nice suburb of Chicago, close to two hospitals and the expressway. It's an 18-acre facility and the grounds are well maintained with parking for visitors. I didn't see any issues in the four units that I visited, in the hallways, in the public spaces, and in the dining room. It looks very good.

The cost in Victorian Village is much higher than any other place, because people in Homer Glen have problems with the water. They don't get the city water, but water from one person who controls the place. I saw the lobby and the dining room, it's a nice and comfortable place. The staff and the people I talked to there were super nice and wonderful. The place looked beautiful, was well-kept, and clean. They have porches in front of the building where you can sit. Patients with dementia and Alzheimer's live in small bungalows separate from the main building. They also have special care and special nurses. None of the other places have anything like that.

Victorian Inn was very clean. They had elevators and seemed more like a hospital to me. They wanted $24 for the phone and $20 a month for cable. It's not one set price per month. They seem to add more and more fees to it. They showed me an outside balcony, but I didn't see the outdoors where they are allowed to spend their day.

I had a one-bedroom unit apartment in Victorian Village with a kitchenette, a huge closet, and a bath. I was able to stay there and could visit my husband in the rehab unit. The staff was absolutely outstanding. I was spoiled. It was an absolutely beautiful community with excellent home-cooked food.

This is a wonderful campus with independent living in one or two bedroom apartments. This community is faith based and my parents have really enjoyed settling in to this place and it felt like home to them immediately. They travelled to Florida recently but could not wait to get back "home". They enjoy the food and the fellowship with other residents and are proud of their apartment and allow it to be showed to prospective clients at any time. My siblings and I have piece of mind that our parents are safe and are well cared for. There are other services on this campus including assisted living and skilled care if their needs change. I would highly recommend Victorian Village!.

Victorian Village was very beautiful, very clean, and the layout was good. The people were very nice, and the staff is attentive, concerned, and genuinely interested in the welfare of the people. There is Wii bowling, bingo, and movies, and the location is very convenient.
