My mother is in rehab at Southpoint. We haven't had any complaints. Every now and then someone sneaks in her room and takes her chocolate. Other than that, she gets rehab twice a week, and they have a good staff there. They're caring and attentive. I go there a lot when she's having lunch. It's like eating at Denny's. Some of the residents will go up and sing, or they'll bring in people to do some type of entertainment.

Not attentive to patients, floors smells of urine, urine clothes are left lying on the floor or sitting in the resident's window. The majority of staff is lazy, they do not follow up, adminstration pretends to address concerns but do not, they do not work in corporation, and have often been caught in numerous lies.

This facility located on the south side of chicago accepts all forms of insurances, and payments. They do provide services on a skilled level, and most of the residents share rooms with one another. The meals are served by the staff, and staff escort the residents to a designated smoking area. They also accept veterans here. The colors in the facility were basic, and some of the residents had complaints about their clothing not being returned from the laundry. While there I noticed some positive communication amongst the staff and residents. The grounds are fair. In general, I would rank this facility a 3 out of 5 stars.
