Im living at the Senior suites of Chatham. Everything is fine, great, and convenient for me. They have cleaning services you can sign up for, transportation services, and shopping trips every Wednesday to Walmart or Myers. The place is very nicely laid out, they have a gym, exercise equipment, they have a big activities area where they have exercise classes, line dancing on Tuesdays, and a thrift shop thing every Tuesday afternoon where vendors come in. Each apartment has a kitchen. The staff is helpful and cooperative. Im always getting some notices regarding a Christmas party, and tenants can sign up to go, and were pretty much up to date about what the government or community offers. I live in a studio, I dont have to pay for utilities, and the only other thing outside of my rent is the cable. Theres a call bell near my bed and in the bathroom, so if theres an emergency, I can pull the string and someone will come and help.

I thought this place was GREAT for many reasons. It was very clean and the staff was amazingly welcoming. Ms. Lashaunda specifically has been GREAT!!! I love how they are very concerned and engaged with their Senior Community. If there is a need, it gets addressed immediately and taken care of. They offer multiple services such as a community ride to the grocery store and a resource/ Senior gathering area for all of the units to meet and engage with each other. I looove the idea of their washing and drying being FREE... Whomever originally marketed this idea UNDERSTOOD the need for HELP with our Seniors🙌🙌🙌

The apartments in Senior Suites of Chatham were small but very nice. The young lady who showed us the vacant rooms was also very nice and gave us a lot of a lot of information about the building, recreation activities that they had and also showed us around. They have a recreation area, exercise equipment, a beauty shop, and they also have something like a business lounge. If a person wants to have a birthday party or something like that, they also have an area available for that. All in all the place is beautiful, although I didn't like the location. They also have a snack room where you can go ahead and get snacks if you want. It's a fairly new building and it's clean, the visitors' bathroom is also very clean.

Senior Suites was very nice. They have an activity room where they have movie nights. Some people come in for bible study, and they play Bingo. They provide transportation if I want it.

The rooms in Chatham were very small, and they only had one suite to show you which is one-bedroom. They have a nice community room in the first floor, but I didn’t see anyone there. The facility is 5 to 6 floors, and it would be a disadvantage if I am on the 6th floor.

Senior Suites of Chatham was nice, clean, quiet, and affordable. The apartments were not really small, but they kept it really clean. They had a community room where everyone goes down to play cards, play ping pong, drink coffee, and watch movies. The food was OK. It was a good place.

I've been to Senior Suites. Their facility is lovely as it is. The staff was very courteous. They seem to have a very good knowledge of what is provided for the different residents at the different levels their residents are at. I think it's more independent living. They have a wonderful Department of Aging satellite at that facility. The food is good. I would consider moving to the Senior Suites when I become a senior.

I went to view Senior Suites of Chatham, but they said I was not old enough and I had to be on the waiting list. The staff was OK. She showed me the rooms, and I would have loved it because everything I was looking for was included. She didn't tell me about the activities. I thought they could improve on the age range because they said 55 and up, but its actually 62. So, for me it was false advertising if you were not accepting 55 and up. I am 59 now and they were not allowing 55 to come; they were allowing 62.

I saw the Senior Suites of Chatham but I don't think they had assisted living because at that time we were looking for just senior independent-living apartments. The only thing I didn't like about them is the rooms looked like the dimensions were a little smaller but the place itself was really nice. I liked them as far as the way the building was made and the fact that the Department of Aging is attached to the building so that the tenants in that building would have the option if they wanted to go down and participate with some of the meals, the movies, the programs that go on during the day at the Department of Aging center. What I didn't like about it is just the neighborhood is a little rough but if you're getting dropped off or coming there, they do have a little parking lot and it is right on the bus line on a busy street. There are shopping, stores and businesses along there. They have a lounge on each floor. They have a washer and dryer and most of them have that on the floor. The rooms were nice. They always have the little models that are really cute and they don't put a big couch in there. They may put a love seat so the room looks bigger than the living room part. They have a dining where you could come down there and sit or you could have meals delivered at a certain time if you want to pay for that. They have security. What we didn't like about it is that after a certain time at night, you couldn't get buzzed in. If someone came to visit after 8:30 at night, someone would have to come down and let them in. That I didn't like because unless you had a key coming in, you'd have to be dressed or come down.

I like all the activities that Senior Suites of Chaham have for their seniors. They have the line dancing and they take the residents to shopping. They have different activities. They give them different party themes during the summer. They have a gym and beauty shop and that is really nice. The staff are very interactive and very caring. They want to make sure everything is okay and they seem to know the residents in the facility. I have eaten there and the food is very nutritious. It looks good and it tastes good. The residents also seemed to like it.
