My father was only in their rehab for two weeks before he had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital because of untreated infections. My father was not given the bloodtests that his doctor had ordered. When I asked, they said he had been coded wrong. My father in law was a resident at Helia Healthcare of Carbondale for the last year of his life. The staff was excellent the entire time, treated him with dignity and respect and he liked his stay there. This was one of the few nursing homes I found where I truly felt like the staff cared about it's residents.
