My mom is at Bridgeview Healthcare Center. It's a very nice place. She gets three meals a day. They do their laundry. They have activities. They have bingo, and they have other things that they can do. They have a schedule for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They clean the place twice a week. On Tuesday, they put the laundry out by the door, and they pick it up and they bring it back the next day. They have a very nice staff. Their door is always open. It's a very clean place. I don't have any complaints. They have several programs. You can go down for Bible studies. They have a store there also.

Bridgeview Health Care Center was very clean. I noticed that the staff was always with the residents. They showed me the therapy facility and the area where they conduct speech therapy. With regard to activities, they showed me a lounge area where there were residents there, and there were also residents out in the yard area. They also told me on Friday or Saturday night, they would have a bingo ball for those who want to participate. The dining area was large and clean. The staff was excellent. The facility was very clean. There was no foul odor.

My sister's experience with Bridgeview Healthcare Center has been very negative. We're not pleased with what's going on there. They're very slow about responding to requests and she was supposed to get physical therapy, but they stopped it and we were not even aware of it until after that. It's an older building and the maintenance is average for a nursing home. The last time I was there, the toilet was stuck up and ran over, because somebody else had put a brown paper towel in the toilet. It is typical for what you get in a nursing home, so I'm not surprised about anything that happens in a nursing home.

My mom was in rehab at Bridgeview Health Care Center. She was there for three weeks. Her experience was fine. The staff members were excellent. Her room was excellent. She said the food was good. They kept everything clean.

My mother has been staying at Bridgeview Health Care Center for three and a half years, and I'm happy to say that their attention has always been excellent, without any problem. The care given by the staff is optimal, they take care of her and keep me informed of everything my mother requires. I'm so grateful that I can continue my life in peace, knowing that my mother is being very well cared for. Thanks to the care and love given by the Bridgeview staff, my mother's general condition has improved. I have discovered that these helpful people are not only taking care of our loved ones but also respect their condition and treat them with dignity!

DO NOT STICK YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. I went to this location because it was close to our home. It wasn't great, but the best out of 5 I had looked at. Every floor except the main floor smells like urine. A jail cell is cozier than the rooms. No remote for the TVs for the elderly or bedridden. My aunt fell out of bed within one hour of being transported from the hospital because she was "going to get the dog." The person who called me made it seem like it was my aunt's fault, she should know the dog isn't there...my aunt was sent there as a dementia patient and they left her unattended prior to her evaluation. She arrived at the facility around 1:45pm and had to sit on a different floor waiting for her room until 7:15pm. I went and asked two specific questions prior to choosing this place. Can my aunt stay in her room and can she eat her meals in her room? My aunt was in the memory care/dementia unit. I didn't want my aunt thrown in with people being that she was very confused and she was there for physical therapy and we were taking her home when she was back on her feet. I was told "yes" to both questions by Wendy, who took me on a tour of the facility. I asked the correct question, but she failed to ask me anything about my aunt's condition. My aunt was put into a transport chair (a wheelchair with out any feet rests) and wheeled into a generic dining room on the floor and put at a table to watch TV with all the other residents on the floor. When I would go to see my aunt, I wanted to cry because she looked so tired. A few days later I noticed her feet swollen from sitting in the chair all day. How can she be expected to do therapy with swollen feet?? I went to take off my aunt's socks to look at her feet and this white stuff came flying out of her socks because her feet were so dry and nobody told me so I can take her to the doctor. I would get my aunt from the second floor and wheel her to the main floor into the dining room and visit with her for 3 hours a day there because it didn't smell like urine. There is no family friendly visitor area and there are no chairs in the patient's room to sit. You have to ask for chair and hope you don't get an attitude. They were sedating my aunt and I told them to quit giving her the medication because it was only needed in the hospital because she was agitated there and pulling out her IVs but she had gotten over the pneumonia and was okay and no longer with the IVs. My aunt looked like a zombie too often there. The nicest thing about his place was receptionists and the two dogs you are greeted by at the front desk. Stay away from here.

Worst experience: Nurse snapped at me when I asked if my mom got her pill. I had to call the doctor to have him order the nurse to add the pill to my mom's chart. I had to tell the nurse 3 times to take the doctor's call. After 2 1/2 hours the nurse still hadn't given my mom her pill. I again asked the nurse who again snapped at me but wouldn' t look at me. After spending half an hour writing my mom's name on her clothing in black marker, her 11 tops, 5 slacks & sweater are now missing. Not one staff person had an answer for this. Twice I had to request a bedsheet be put on my mom's mattress. Supposedly the rehab are good but the nursing is very questionable and the laundry staff are irresponsible.

We have a nursing home for my mother. What I like most about Bridgeview is that it is clean, they are courteous, they have outside seating, and activities for them. I'm 100% satisfied with them. My mother is interested in their bingo, prayer services, old time movies, and just sitting outside in the summertime admiring flowers and stuff. They have a downstairs dining area, and if they want to, they can go there too. My mother has not complained about their food. The staff is prompt and courteous. They listen to their residents and they engage them in conversation.
