The care was not good my Dad was blind they were told he would need help getting to the dining room and the bathroom but wasn’t helped at all. When my sister went over he was found laying on the bathroom floor. They were shot staffed most of the time with ont two people taking care of the patients and cooking we were very we were promised weekly updates but that didn’t happen unless we called them we were very disappointed in his care I wouldn’t recommend this facility

This assisted living is very home like. The staff treats residents like family and residents are well taken care of.

My mom had been in Turtle and Crane. It was small, so, I thought it was a lot easier for my parents to know people there. The dining area was small, and they had a choice on what to eat. If they did not like what was on the menu, they were able to get something different.

My father has been at Turtle and Crane for three months now, and we could not wish for anything more for him. He is well cared for, healthy, clean, and supervised with kindness. I’m impressed with the general personality of the people who work there. They treat my father as if he is a respected, elderly gentleman and not a crazy person. They’re outstanding.

Our experience with Turtle and Crane has been very good. They do have activities that will get the residents out of their rooms to socialize. The food smells good and the presentation has been good when I've been there at mealtime. Real friendly staff, great with residents. No complaints!

I found a place for mom and she is at Turtle and Crane right now. We chose this community because it was the closest place to her home town. Everything seemed very nice there. The staff are very nice too. They try to get everybody to do a lot of things together. Overall, it's a very nice facility.

My mom was in a larger place in town but a friend of mine recommended turtle and Crane. This was the best move we could have made. The staff is always so sweet and caring and the building is beautiful. I recommend the place to everyone.

While I don't have any experience with other facilities, I would certainly not recommend it. While I was visiting my Grandmother at the facility I was deeply displeased with what I saw. Not only was the staff unfriendly and unprofessional, the level of care provided was disheartening. My experience began at lunch time. The food was ill-prepared and slightly cold. There were no staff members present to assist the residents during meal time, which was a cause for concern because many of the residents had difficulty feeding themselves. Not only that, but they did not even care that the food was poorly prepared. When we went back to her room, there was little in the way of personal comfort for her there. The only assistance devices were in the restroom, which my Grandmother could not use by herself. When it was time to say goodbye, the facility staff placed my Grandmother in a walking chair and proceeded to tip her over! She fell on the concrete and began to bleed (something the staff did not seem very concerned with). I am extremely displeased with the level of care shown by the staff and surprised that the amenities are so lacking given the amount the facility is paid to care for my Grandmother. I would certainly not recommend this facility to anyone seeking an assisted living facility in the Idaho Falls area.
