My sister is a resident of Volante of Ashbrook. It's a nice community. The staff is OK. They're not totally what I think staff should be for elderly people, but they do a good job. The bedroom is adequate. It's air-conditioned, has cable, and a nice separate bathroom. I haven't eaten there, but my sister who is the one residing there likes it. I would say 60 percent of the time she's a finicky eater anyway, so it's hard to please. The community, that's laid out very well.

Volante of Ashbrook was nice. I went to see their independent living. The 1-bedroom apartment was too small for me, but I liked the 2-bedroom one. It had a nice and quiet environment. It had very nice grounds, and the building was very nice too. Even though it was an older building, it was kept up very well.

Volante of Ashbrook was kind of distant as far as going from Atlanta, but the facility itself was pretty nice. The young lady who showed around was the facilitator's assistant. She showed me the apartment and she was very nice and very polite. Everything's clean. The room was pretty small. The atmosphere was nice.

Content: I've been searching for an assisted living facility for my 93 year old father. We spoke to Shawn, who is a totally kind and understanding staff member. She showed us a room, that we loved. It was very comfortable. Everything is spotless, clean! Cleanliness is seen throughout. The whole facility is comfortable, activities for the patients are available, they have everything a person needs to their avail. The staff was amazing, friendly and kind. We felt very welcomed and we were very pleased at how it looks and what they do. It's a place I'm looking forward to place my father in this facility in the very near future.

It was good. The community seemed nice. It was quiet and it was kind of tucked away, so that seemed like a plus. The only thing is they didn't take any type of government assistance. That's one of the only detractors, that I had is that it's all out-of-pocket expenses. No government assistance is allowed. The woman there was fine. She was very knowledgeable and good overall. She answered all my questions and knew everything that I asked for. The apartments looked good and clean. I'm impressed with those all. There was a lot of outdoor space for independent living and there was a lot of room to move around. It wasn't cramped at all. So, that is one thing I liked.

It was very nice. All of the people there were very friendly. It's clean. It seems like they have a lot of activities planned for the residents. I liked it. The common areas were big. They had a few of them conveniently located in most of the rooms. They also had a private dining room so that if you had a special occasion, your families could come and sit there. You wouldn't be out in the regular dining room, which I thought was pretty nice. They gave us a list of activities that they had planned. It looks like they prearranged it a month in advance. So, they gave us a sheet about what was going to happen for the rest of the month. It looked like they had a lot of things to do. The staff was super.

THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH $2000 A MONTH RENT It use to be a nice place but when management changes 3 times you have to wonder what's up with that. My mom has been living there for 6 yrs and rent was $600 for 3 yrs. Shortly after the rent kept going up and up. She is now paying $900. okay not that big of a deal but when she gotten a letter earlier this month(date on it was July 9th 2023) saying as of 8/1/23 her rent going up to $1995.00 than as of Jan 1 2024 it is going to go up again. She lives in a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage....THAT IS CRAZY... some of the residents social security isn't that much ans they are now worried sick of how can they afford that or if they are going to be homeless. PLACE IS GOING DOWNHILL FAST. NEW MANAGEMENT SUCKS.....

We have toured and the place was amazing. I like it even better than the other place we visited. It was more spacious, more homey, and feels a little more caring. It's very, very clean, we toured the whole place, and most of the rooms we walked by had the doors open. The residents would speak to you and everything. There's not even a whiff of something unclean, so they do a great job, and it was just an impromptu visit. We just came by and they were able to show us the entire place.

I liked it. It was very clean and very quiet. The staff was really nice and very informative. The room was small. Not that you would have cooking places or anything like that. It was just a place for you to sleep in, which was good because it would have gotten my mom out and made her associate with other people. Not just sit in her room all day.

My first thought was to find something very close to me, and this community is 8 minutes from house. At first, I wasn't impressed when I first entered. As the staff took me further back, I was very impressed because they use all the space. Instead of using it to make a grand entrance, they put it to the residents for their living space; I like that. It was very impressive for the residents. I also like that they have their own bathrooms. I liked the staff a lot because I saw him interact with some of the residents. Even though we were in memory care, the residents knew him. He was very comforting to them; that stood out to me. They offer three meals a day with snacks. They have a very big dining area.

I like that it was modern. It was a new facility. What I like the least about it was the independent living was a little far away from the main building like where the dining hall and stuff are located. Some of the independent living cottages could be far away. We did independent living and the assisted living. The staff during the tour was very courteous, very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. The amenities were kind of standard with an assisted living home, but everything was new and clean. People looked to be enjoying themselves. The facilities were very nice. They had a hair salon, a library, and an activity room where they do the games, bingo, and stuff like that.

It was very nice and where my sister has decided to move into. They said they will build a nursing home on the property. They had a daily schedule of activities. The dining area was very clean, and people seemed very happy with the food.

The staff seemed nice, and they answered all my questions. They had nice big rooms with double beds, tables, chairs, closets, and a bathroom. They had a van service that takes residents to grocery stores, but I do not know if they had field trips. It was a very safe facility.

My wife and I were there. It was a quiet place. The staff were always present because there was an assisted living in the property. It was nice.
