My wife and I had to move in with my Dad in January 2020, due to his health declining and having some depression and slight dementia. He had outlived three women that he loved over a span of about 67 years, and was lonely. My sister and I tried to get him to move into an Assisted Living Facility, but he wanted to stay at home as long as he could, so we moved in with him to take care of him. Looking back it was a Godsend because I got to spend 14 months with my Dad every day of his life, loving him and taking care of him, until I worried about his safety at home. That’s when we decided to move him in to Willow Wood at Fellowship Home in February, 2021. I already knew how good and compassionate and caring the staff were but after observing hour after hour I really came to appreciate all the caring and compassion that they showed my Dad until his last breath. I can’t thank The Fellowship Family enough for that precious time! GOD’S LOVE!!🙏💜

We toured Fellowship Home at Brookside. Overall, our tour experience was positive. The staff seemed friendly, nice, accommodating, professional, and caring. They helped me find a room, and overall, a pleasant experience. The facility seemed nice, clean, and really kind of what you would expect.

Fellowship Home at Brookside is very warm, inviting, and very welcoming. They were kind and understanding. The rooms are very spacious, very modernized, and very clean. They had everything there and they meet all the regular accommodations that an assisted living would need.

My relative fell in his room and yelled over and over for help and then had to call his grandson on the phone to get him help. Terrible place for a loved one. They are always saying that they take all seriously but words don’t mean anything.

My Mother was a resident there for about 6 months. Some of the staff are not very well trained. What I don't understand is why nursing assistants, instead of nurses are giving out medications to the residents. I did not feel very good about that. at all. If we are going to pay out the kind of money, each month for our loves ones to be taken care of, I want my Mothers medication to be given by a nurse. The place was clean and had good meals for the residents. Just not the kind of place I want my Mother at.

I visited this facility looking for a place for my mother. I was not impressed at all. Needs to be remodeled by all means. Also there was a patient calling for help, and no one ever did answer light to help this person. I heard from a friend that they have a big turn over in employee's, some quit. Most are fired for no reason at all, and some of the medications are given by untrained medical staff. This is one place I would not want any of my family at, unprofessional staff who do not care for the patients at all.

My granny was a resident at Fellowship Home for about 3 years. We were pleased with her care. Now my mother is a resident in the Memory Care area. This facility has various levels of care from Assisted Living to Memory Care. It has been redecorated with warm farmhouse décor. The Memory Care area has been remodeled. Its dining room is now a spacious, open, cheerful dining area. Also, they have 2 large day rooms with lots of light from the many windows, comfortable couches, chairs and recliners and flatscreen tvs. The staff knows their residents and are patient with them. Often they play pleasant music in the day rooms and sometimes sing songs. The staff also tries to keep us informed of mom's daily physical and mental health. My only complaint is that the residents laundry gets misplaced or mixed up. Perhaps that is a common problem in most elderly care facilities...so I hear.

Fellowship Home was a wonderful place for Mom when she was sick. But they don't really do a lot, and the people there are sicker. It's a wonderful place. It's just that it was good for a short time for her. My mom loved some of the staff. The other staff, I just don't think they're up to par. I think they're short staffed, and I don't think they're as well-educated. There were a couple of mishaps, so I wasn't too happy about it. And it was hard for me to deal with her being so far away. But they were friendly to her. She loved them. The area where she was kind of a little bit depressing. But it was nice and a big room. They have outings to Walmart once a week. I think they take people out to lunch every once in a while, and have sing-alongs and bingo. The lady who ran the place was amazing. She had a lot of people who were wheelchair-bound and were really in bad shape who she helped out. But they didn't do a lot of more physical activities. It was a wonderful place and quite religious, too. The way they served dinner was like zombies. It was terrible. But you just had to laugh. They bring one plate out at a time.

My dad was at Fellowship Home at Valdosta GA. The facility is great, but we need to transfer him to a nursing home because he needs full time nursing care. The staff was great.

Fellowship has over 400 acres of a peaceful, laid back environment. I was a little upset with them at first because when I called inquiring information about the facility, they didnt seem to know much. I asked about a few things they offered on the website but the person that answered the phone said they didnt offer that. The young lady said she had just started working there so I figure its a toss-up between false advertisement or someone that isnt completely familiar with the facility yet. Its really quiet and scenic there.

The Fellowship Home is a family owned independent care-assisted living facility located approximately 8 miles west of Valdosta, GA. The independent living facility is new and has all the amenities of home including a small movie theater. The assisted living facility is a strong facility for patient care and patient rights. There is a secure Alzheimer's unit within the assisted living portion of the facility. The owners of the Fellowship Home have foot care for the residents provided by a local podiatrist. The staff is caring and the residents are provided very good care and attention. The Medicare certified Home Health agency I work for provides care to some of the residents within the Fellowship Home. The owners embrace any services that can be provided for their residents.
