My mother is adjusting very nicely at Traces of Tiger. They take very good care of her and it's very personable. It's small and everyone knows everyone. Some meals are good, but they don't have the best cook. They have Bingo, musical entertainment, they can a ball back and forth, and there is adult coloring. The rate is quite affordable.

Traces of Tiger felt like home. We toured it looking for assisted living for my mom. The staff and the workers there were very family-oriented. They were very kind and made us feel welcome. It felt like a place I wouldn't mind going to. It was a little older, but it was well kept, large, and had a lot of different areas that you could go to. I like the programs that they offered and it had some nice outdoor areas.

I toured Traces of Tiger Retirement. The community's fine with no problems. It was very good. I did see two levels of apartments, which was very nice. The staff was very nice. They have a hot tub. They also have a shower room, which is much easier for the handicapped. This is a little bit swankier. I liked the larger rooms, specifically the closets and the bathrooms. They had a very large recreation room, and a nice library area. Their grass was a little bit higher than I would have appreciated, but there's extenuating circumstances now with COVID. They have a lot more outdoor space. I give it a five because it was a larger outdoor space. The dining area was fine. It was larger. They did have plants in there, which made it homey. They have kind of a bay window in their large windows with lots of plants; and I'm a plant lover. It was very nice. They did not have tablecloths on the tables, however.

My mom has been here a few months and my brother, sister and I try to visit each day. We come at random times and have noticed the facility is always clean. The staff is friendly and they always have a smile on their face. I continue to be impressed as I've noticed the staff doesn't mind helping any of the residents with whatever they may desire. I have never seen any staff with a negative attitude. They are very professional and caring with every resident. The rooms are roomy in size with a walk-in closet, a good size bathroom with walk-in showers, a mini-kitchen and a TV hookup. We furnished it with our bed and furniture to complete the room. Mom's room needs......ugh... Nothing!! Although I/we were invited to attend, I make a point not to join the residents for any any activities (birthday parties, singing, new events, games, mini-church, etc.), but mom goes and she seems to enjoy them all. All residents have to go to the cafeteria for each meal to eat. This is a good thing to keep mom moving. Overall the food is good and better than expected. Occasionally, they may serve something mom doesn't care for, but she has a backup stash, so it works OK for us all. The management is very professional and available most any time we have questions or concerns. I/We are amazed at what the amenities they offer and how well they stay on top of each thing they do. We know we are so blessed to find such an awesome place. It is a perfect fit for mom and our family.

This place has gone downhill so fast! A year and a half ago, it was nice. Once they got rid of the director and much of the good staff, it is the worse place! On the website, they say they have a memory care unit. They have a building for memory care but they have memory care residents in with regular residents. They have caused much grief on my family. BEWARE,!! if you are a resident there and your behavior changes because of a medical problem that antibiotics could clear up, they will do whatever is possible to get you out of there even as far as getting a 1013..that is where the state takes over and you are put on a psych ward and the family can’t do anything! The doctor that ‘behind’ the scene, runs this place, did. All that was needed was an antibiotic!!! BEWARE!!! Seriously, they don’t even deserve a rating of 1.

I have provided care at this facility as a home health nurse and community care coordinator since the facility opened. It has been owned by the same family for the entire time, but management has changed and their care has only improved over the years. They currently are managed by a former home health agency owner who is knowledgeable in senior care and genuinely cares about her residents and employees. Our home health agency provides skilled nursing and therapy services there for several of their residents and we conference weekly with the manager to ensure that our patients /their residents receive the very best care possible. The facility has been going through renovations and is beautifully decorated and clean. They always have activities for the residents and are able to take their residents to appointments or other activities outside the facility whenever necessary. I would feel totally comfortable for any of my family members to be living there.

I was very pleased with Traces of Tiger Retirement. Everything was very clean and they were very friendly and home-oriented. The rooms were very clean and some of them had walk-in showers or tubs. They were very thorough with everything, and I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend them.

The manager at Traces of Tiger was doing her job really well. The rooms are clean, well maintained, and very nice. The grounds and location were beautiful since it's out in the mountains.

The Traces of Tiger was great. The staff was extremely accommodating. The residents were happy, and they were smiling. It was really a nice place, we felt very much at home. The rooms were a little larger than some of the other places we looked at, and they had nice-sized closets, microwaves, and stuff like that. We were there for lunch one day, and the food was delicious. We all cleaned our plates, so it must have been pretty good. They have a car that they use to shuttle everybody to the senior center, which is only about 3 or 4 blocks away. They have church services once a week and Bingo once a week -- or more if they could find somebody to call -- and they have 2 areas where the residents can go out into a sun room and congregate, and they have exercise available. They have arts and crafts and are adding more as they go along. When my friend went in there, he loved it.

Traces Of Tiger is under new management this year and I am very pleased with the improvements they have made. My mother is in the new memory care facility and she is very happy with her new home. The staff is very kind and caring .The directors are excellent and hands on. It wasn't easy for me to place my mother in a facility, but it has turned out to be the best for both of us.

I had a grandparent in her 80s staying at this facility. The staff members, while seemingly scarce, were all very friendly and helpful when needed. The ambiance of the entire facility, overall, was very pleasant, lots of warm colors and seasonal decorations made the interior seem very inviting. The public area for the residents seemed a good bit drab and out-dated, though. I feel that the staff could have offered more group activities. I feel, personally, that all care facilities should focus not only on 'being there when needed' but honestly trying to help the residents hold on to what they still have. While my grandmother never complained about any of her care, she also never really had anything particularly great to say about it. One of the main reasons we chose the facility was that it was the only suitable one in a mountain environment, and that's where she preferred to be.
