My mother pays more than 1300.00 a month to live a community that has no free Wifi or free cable for the seniors. No meal options i.e. breakfast or dinner. No activities accept for card games. There has been flooding from other apartments and whereas maintenance used to clean the carpets once a year, there has been no carpet cleaning in over 5 years. The gutters have weeds growing out of them. Carpets are badly stained. If there is an emergency management is not easily accessible. The front gates sometimes don't properly work nor the electronic doors to the building. Once time I was leaving and couldn't get out!!! This is very concerning incase there is an emergency. I feel like these seniors are being exploited and there is no real care nor concern for their well-being!!!

My mother will be moving to Antioch Manor Estates. The people are very helpful, and the place is nice. After hours, you have to have a key to get in. Nobody can just walk in there. It was clean. They take them shopping, and they take them on trips. They have a salon, a barbershop, and a gym. It was very clean when I was there.

When my relative first moved into the facility it was really nice. Its been 4yrs and it has went down hill. Its Roach infested...the office is rarely open... Hard to get maintenance.... Front doors malfunction frequently.... Computer room rarely open....its falling apart.

My mother-in-law was called in to view an apartment. On the day she was supposed to see it, her transportation was a little late so she called and told them she was going to be late. They then proceeded to tell her that the apartment had already been leased out. No one called her to relay that information. She would've made the trip there in vain. The lady she spoke with showed no remorse or concern that she was mislead. She just simply told her that she was going to place her back on the waiting list. This place is very disorganized and I would not recommend a dog to live there.

My mother had been on the waiting list for a 2 bedroom on the first floor. We were called by Brandi and told that one had become available and I took my mother to the office to complete the application and pay the application fee and security deposit on a Monday. On Thursday I spoke with the property manager Sheila to try to get an extension on the move in date due to timing and was told that they were at 100% occupancy and could rent the unit that day therefore they could not change the move in date. OK. The next day Sheila called and said that my mother would not be able to move into the unit that she had applied for and paid a deposit for because it was a section 8 unit and my mother was not section 8. At that time Sheila offered another 2 bedroom on the 3rd floor or a 1 bedroom on the 1st floor. At that time my mother declined although she had already given notice to her current apartment because she thought she would be moving into the apartment that she was called about. Over the weekend my mother changed her mind and decided to take the 3rd floor unit and when I called Sheila she then says that the 3rd floor unit was also section 8 and she was trying to get it changed over. For the life of me I could not understand why these people would continue to offer units that my mother didn't qualify for. Between Brandi and Sheila I don't know if they are just incompetent or big liars but either way this has negatively affected my 72 year old mother. Upon my final conversation with Sheila who advised that they were always aware that the units were section 8 but did not advise my mother, she refused to give me her manager's contact information and said that she would forward my information. This is unacceptable. My loved one will never live at this establishment. It's a shame that this is how this property treats our elderly. And if this is their process, something needs to be done to correct it.

Antioch Manor seemed very nice, and we are already on their waiting list. I know they had transportation and community activities, but we were not able to do the tour of the location because of the timing of our visit.

My mom stays there, the place could be nice but they take their time in doing repairs. The doors on the building will not lock like they are supposed to. I have asked for management to call back but will not. They can't seem to keep maintenance people to the work. We have had to call the board of health about the trash at times. The Pastor and management don't seem to care.

My mother-in-law is all set and will be moving into Antioch Manor next week. It has a security gated entrance, it's a fairly new facility, and she has a friend who already lives there. The rooms are very nice. She'll be getting a two-bedroom apartment and it has its own kitchen with appliances, a laundry room, one large-sized bathroom, and it also has a patio. They don't provide food; residents there cook their own food. They do provide lots of activities, which is another thing that I liked about the place. They have movie nights, arts and crafts, and a monthly birthday party for residents, shuttle services for outings, a game room, a fitness center as well as a library and computer room. I like not only that it has cleanliness, but also a variety of activities that keep seniors active, so when you walk into that environment, it doesn't feel or even look like a nursing home.
