Oxton Place was a nice facility. It was clean and all the clients seemed to be happy. They had activity rooms, therapists, and they have some rooms where you can have private access for the family.

A very good place with good people. My mom has been here for over 2 years now. The staff will work with you and take care of any concerns you may have. Glad we have a good home like this in Douglas.

Coming from a small town there are only two available assisted living homes in the area. Summer's Landing has cared for many of my relatives and longtime friends throughout the years with dedicated, caring, and compassionate service. Recently, I have an Aunt that that had to move into the home due to the weakening of her body, which led her to fall many times at home alone. She is failing in memory and has to receive food through a feeding tube. Summer's Landing became her new home and has done an excellent job with a staff of CNAs, LPN, and RN that give her the around the clock care that she needs. I do not get to see my Aunt that often, but from the times that I have seen her, she seems to be in good spirits at Summer's Landing. Summer's Landing is not the biggest of facilities and may not be the newest in décor of homes, but with that, they make it up in small town Southern Charm.
