My mother is in Magnolia Hills. The staff has been great since she's been there. We would highly recommend it. She really enjoys the food; it's good. It's very clean and very organized. They have church service and activities during the week that people can participate in.

About Magnolia Hills Retirement Home in Demorest, Georgia
Magnolia Hills offers superior senior care services to our clients. Our assisted living facility is located in Demorest, GA, and serves people throughout the Northeast Georgia region.
With over 30 years of experience in the industry and a beautiful location packed with amenities, you or your loved one is sure to have the best experience possible when you stay with us.
Magnolia Hills was opened in 1999 with a completely different business model than most larger, corporate assisted living facilities. We have a staff that includes almost 90% tenured employees who have been in the business for over a decade. All of our meals are made in-house and fresh. All cleaning and personal care services are performed by our own staff and not outsourced, making it a much more comfortable experience for our residents since staff and residents are familiar with one another. This also keeps overhead down, allowing us to offer our services for incredibly fair prices.
The Magnolia difference:
- All rooms (for singles and couples) are private with their own bath, walk-in closet and HVAC unit with thermostat.
- We store and manage all your medications through a RN and consulting pharmacy so you never have to worry about your schedule.
- Three delicious, freshly prepared meals are made every day. Healthy snacks are always available too, and we can adapt our food to specific diets.
- Weekly housekeeping (including linen service) is all part of the experience.
- A public telephone is available to use to all residents completely free of charge!
- Staff is available 24 hours a day and certified in First Aid and CPR.
- Transportation to local appointments and shopping locations is available.
- Bathing assistance is available along with provisions for residents personal laundry to be managed by staff.
- Cable television and a private telephone are included in all suites.

I like Magnolia Hills Retirement Home. It is clean and homey. There were areas in the facility for movement and activity rooms. There were scheduled activities if you wanted to do them. The staff I came across is very friendly, but they were more support staff, not a nursing staff. I have tried their food and it's good too.

I only went to Magnolia Hills, and it was an OK place. It’s very clean and very nice. The small rooms are about $2,500 a month, and the big ones are about $3,000. It was very nice. You would have 2 beds and still have a sitting area, and it had its own bathroom. The big one had two good-sized beds, a bigger sitting area, a large bathroom, and then plenty of storage area. They played Bingo and other games, and they had 3 meals a day.

Magnolia Hills is extremely clean and the environment is friendly. The room was large enough for a bed, dresser, TV, a bath. There were bingos, sing-alongs, Bible studies, and visitations.
