My husband, Ray, just passed away at The Palace at Weston in Memory Care. He had the most incredible experience with immensely caring personnel. I have no words to express my gratitude. Beginning with Stephanie (my angel)who admitted him, Laura, nursing staff, the CNA’s (Jose, Pedro, Arnaldo, Helen and countless others) who treated him like family. They made sure that he was clean and fed constantly. They were there for me when he died. The Vita’s staff that they have is incredible.. The cleaning staff, entrance staff(Anna) and restaurant staff were exceptional. Justin, activities director, is one in a million. Justin came to my husband’s room and gave him a personal concert on his birthday with the staff. I got a bouquet of flowers for our anniversary. I am convinced that my husband lived longer and better because of the care he received. Thank you!Thank you!!

The Palace at Weston was nice, but it was very pricey. All the people were being taken care of. The facility was gorgeous. They had the people up doing exercises and eating. There was a lot of interaction with the people there. They had a pool. They offer meals. The facility is huge, but it's fully enclosed, so you don't have to worry about them, whether they're in regular care or memory care, getting out, or getting hurt. There's a higher caregiver-to-resident ratio in this facility. They had a very nice layout for their dining area. They have a discounted price if you're a married couple and you have a spouse that wants to come in. So for couples, it's a very good facility.

The Palace at Weston is a perfect fit for my mother in every way. I think they had the perfect studio apartment for her that suited her needs. We could just tell the workers there were just so warm, wonderful, and efficient. We were just highly impressed with the facility. For my mom, it actually was like living in a five-star hotel. It's unbelievable; it's so amazing. The staff are very caring, there's attention to detail, and they're just overwhelmingly efficient. They have thought of every detail to make people happy there. The food is incredible. It's like being on a cruise for my mom. They have shows and movies. It's amazing.

The Palace Weston FL assisted living is a very well-maintained and well-designed facility. The apartment that my parents-in-law are in is a 2-bedroom with a kitchen, a den and living room area, and two bathrooms. It was quite opulent however, they had shiny marble floors in the kitchen area, which I found to be dangerous because of their slippiness. There were some design issues, both in the bathrooms and in their kitchen, that should have been corrected for elderly people. They didn't take that into account so although the opulence of it was clear, the safety of it was less clear for me from the perspective of whether it's safe for them to walk around on their own or not. I think the staff, in general, are okay but I think there was a language barrier in the service area like the janitorial staff and the aides, one that they didn't expect to see in a facility of that cost. They have buttons that you push if you have a problem. I don't know how quickly they are responding to those, I am not aware of how quickly they attend to a patient or a resident's needs on the emergency side. We had to call them to get my mother-in-law to the hospital when she was experiencing pain. You would have thought she could have done that internally so that's my impression right now on the responsiveness and the availability of assistance. They had plenty of activities like live music coming in and happy hour. They have arts and crafts and all kinds of things. They seem to be pretty well set up to have people who can participate in those things have something to do. The availability of those kinds of things was pretty good. I thought the food looked good. They have a nice kitchen menu, a nice dining facility, and they deliver some meals when we were moving my in-laws in. I tasted them and they were quite good. I would say, the kitchen is very well-staffed with professionals who know what they're doing. There's a lack of inclusivity with their initial and base payment so that you have to pay for additional assistance out of pocket.
