The staff members at Brookdale were so helpful when I brought my mother in as a resident on her first day. Also, the residents are kind and compassionate, making her feel welcome. She currently is adjusting to her new space, and it will take some time, but the people go out of the way to make her feel like she belongs and that has been very helpful during this stressful transition.

I went to look at Brookdale Tarpon Springs. They had a bedroom, and it was very small. I wouldn't be able to live there. They took me to lunch. There's nothing bad about it, but it's not great eating. I like the manager. He was a nice guy. The facility was neat and clean. They had a lot of nice people there, and most of them seemed to enjoy themselves.

My mother-in-law is currently at Brookdale Tarpon Springs. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly and very caring. The residents are all well cared for. They have group activities, movies, bingo, card games, painting, and outings. The food is good. It's not what we particularly care for because we like more spices, but they make a nice presentation on the plate, and they have a nice variety of food that they serve.

My father is a resident at Brookdale Tarpon Springs. He LOVES it there. The things he likes are that there are no elevators and the activities. The things I like are that the staff is incredibly professional and kind to my father. He improved so much once he moved into Brookdale Tarpon Springs. He is very happy there. He tells me that all the time.

I can't say anything bad about Brookdale Tarpon Springs. It was clean and it was a nice facility. When I talked to the guy that assisted me, that was the point when I understood what I needed to do. I didn't realize a lot of the stuff that went around with it. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. He gave me a bunch of brochures to help me figure out what the next step I needed to do was. Without them, I would have been lost. They showed me the bedrooms, and everything looked nice. They we...

We liked Brookdale Tarpon Springs. It's a little smaller facility, more personal care, and more one-on-one. Friendly staff. Clean facility. The menus that they gave us looked good. It looked like things my mom would be interested in eating. They had a lot of amenities. The room has a kitchenette with a refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink. They had a lot of other things that the other place had like a seating area if you want to read, watch TV, or do crafts or anything like that. We liked all o...

Brookdale Tarpon Springs was very nice, very clean, small, very comfortable, and homey. It was not institutionalized. It smelled good. The staff was very, very nice. The service they provided was excellent. We went into the dining area, and it looked very good. They have bingo. They have a garden and a club room. They have adequate activities and socialization. A lot of people were in the TV area watching TV together, which is something that my dad can do. There were a group of men his age and w...

My mother is in Brookdale Tarpon Springs. They're good, but they're expensive. The staff is good. They offer driver services if they need to go anywhere. They take little trips, but COVID kind of put a kibosh on that for now. They're getting back to some kind of normal, though. They have a beauty salon; the only thing they don't have is somebody who comes in and does manicures and pedicures. They have a doctor who comes in and does the podiatry part, but my mom likes to have a manicure and a ped...

I visited Brookdale Tarpon Springs. I absolutely loved every part of it, except they had no memory care. I went to see if they would get him, but they are not licensed high enough to take care of him. Every resident seemed to have a smile on their face. I didn't go into the rooms. You got to remember, we're still under Covid here. There were two staff people who walked me around. I liked the way that everything looks and smells. They have outings for their people, and everything looks good. The...

The lady who showed us around Brookdale Tarpon Springs was very nice and very helpful. Their accommodation was nice and clean, but it was no comparison to the other place I went to. Everything was all right, but it was so low, and I was worried that if there was a hurricane or something, the people might have to move. This community is the least expensive one among all the ones I visited. They have an outside area, but it's not like others. The person who gave me the tour was very nice, accommod...

I visited the community to look into future options for myself. I currently live in New Port Richey, but would absolutely make the move to Tarpon to live at Brookdale Tarpon Springs. I came in for one of the 3 weekly happy hour events, it was very exciting. The food, drinks, entertainment, and happiness among the residents and families was absolutely incredible! It was such a beautiful well kept community. The staff and residents were extremely warm and welcoming. they truly made it feel like ho...

I absolutely would recommend this community to anyone in the area. Such a beautiful place with a great staff and happy residents. I came in for a friends and family party it was amazing over 100 family members there. Great food, music, dancing, and more! Such a wonderful time. I would love to someday call this community home myself and would be delighted to have my own mother or father living here i give it an 11/10!!!

It is a beautiful community and unlike any other assisted living I have ever been to. As you walk through the halls the employees are SO friendly and all introduce themselves and tell you a little bit about them. I have visited others and people will smile and wave, but at Brookdale Tarpon Springs they all really cared to hear who I was and what I was looking for in an assisted living. The community is bright and smells amazing there is always some treats there from pop corn to cookies in the f...

This facility will not allow it's residents to return to their home over the weekend if they happen to be discharged from the hospital on a weekend day due to lack of adequate staffing. Your family member will be sitting at the hospital until Monday awaiting to return home.

Brookdale Tarpon Springs have lots of long furniture out front and people were there. The grounds were really nice in the back, so people could go back there with their walkers or roll around in their wheelchairs. The dining room was like a very formal dining room, and had a nice room to the side where visitors could have a private area with their families, which was extremely nice. The room was not quite as big as the ones at the other Brookdale, but it was a fairly nice-sized room, and the sta...

Brookdale Tarpon Springs was good. It was smaller but it was friendly. Being an older facility, the cleanliness wasn’t as good because things needed repair sometimes. The menu looked good and I saw people doing the activities. The rooms were nice and bigger.

When comparing this facility to other facilities they are way overpriced for the service and care that our parents receive. They raise the rent yearly and anything you need is ad hoc added to your monthly bill. The nursing staff is not very good and I have witnessed rude behavior to some of the residents. They have volunteers come in to "entertain" and it is obvious that even the residents become bored.. It is concerning that at 11:00pm at night the front door is not locked. Anyone could ente...

We found Brookdale Tarpon Springs. My first impression of it was that they were very nice people, and the place was very clean. We went to a couple of different ones; either they were very big or they were very small, but this one was perfect. The staff is very courteous. The first time I was there, they walked me to my mother's room. Food is excellent. My mother loves the food. The chef comes out and greets the people and asks how the food was. It is just very warm. They are always out and abou...

Freedom Inn in Tarpon Springs is the BEST ALF facility in Pinellas County from my view and experience with my 86 year old mother. The entire staff has a very strong "PASSION" for the level of care all residents receive. Several staff members have told me that this is not a job, as they are in this field providing care for individuals that need assistance because they love what they do. The rooms are ample in size and very clean and well maintained with a full time staff. Walking into the buildin...

I thought Freedom Inn was a very nice place. It was very clean. It was small, which was nice. I think the advantage of being a small community is that they offer more of a one-on-one experience and the residents will be able to make friends. I think any place they go they should be able to make friends, but the smaller the community, the more there are tight knit groups because there's only a set amount of people there. I'm a medical assistant for a neurologist and we have at least two or three ...

Freedom Inn At Tarpon Springs is a well manicured facility. Freedom Inn buildings pretty much are all externally appealing in my opinion. Once you enter the facility the first thing you notice is how it feels as if you just entered a five star hotel lobby. Large and open common areas and rooms designed specifically for activities for the residents. The outdoor common area is large and beautifully manicured also. Each room is more of a apartment style set up. Most rooms have a living room, a kitc...

Upon arriving at Freedom Inn of Tarpon Springs I noticed there was ample parking for staff and visitors, but the landscaping could sure use some improvement. After checking in at the front desk I took the initiative to tour the facility. I happened to meet several residents and they went on the tour with me. I noticed there was not many amenities, no swimming pool, if you want to sit outside, you will have to sit out on a bench in the sun. The residents that accompanied me on my tour did s...
