My mom has been a resident at Cameron ALF for a month now. It is great and it is clean. She has a shared room. They have an activity area and they have TV and music. I asked my mom about the food and she said she loves it. The place is very comfortable, clean, and beautiful, too.

We went to Cameron ALF II and saw the staff interact with people. They had a TV room. The place was super clean; you can eat off the floor. We really got impressed, but there was no room there for my mother. It's a little care home and had more of a private atmosphere. The rooms were regular like a house would have. They had a bed and a closet, and it's good enough for one person. They had gardens everywhere and very beautiful rooms.

My mom has been in Cameron Assisted Living for about 2 weeks now. They are very attentive and very helpful. It is a small population. The only drawback is the help speaks mostly Spanish and just a little English, but what they don't have in language they make up for in attitude. It is in a good neighborhood. It is a little farther than I like -- about 25-minutes from where I live. But from the center of town, it is pretty centrally located. She shares a room, and it has a bathroom associated with it, but it is not private because they bring other people in for their showers.
