My father is living in Miracle Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Inc. They have done a wonderful job of cleaning him up and getting him into a routine with physical therapy. Those people care there. They really care. His room is basic, but it's fine. It's nothing fancy, but it is what it needs to be. They do the best they can, and they keep the place pretty nice. Their dining area is very, very clean, and my father seems to like the food very much. They also have my father involved every day in some type of activity, and they have made him go to physical therapy every day since he had the fall. The staff are the most compassionate and caring people I've ever dealt with in my life. It seems to be the best value we could find in this area. For the level of care that they give him, it's a good value.

This place is truly out dated. The patients sit all day in their chair for 12 hours at a time. I was visiting my friends uncle the aide said she the shift before she got there at 7 am got him up and was told the next shift has to put him in bed it was 9 am at the time and the aide shift was over at 7pm. He was crying that his bottom was itching and wanted to be change. A nurse told me "he'll get changed once put down after dinner at 5pm" I end up lifting him into bed myself, changing him, then put him back in the chair. Was told over and over they're short staffed and don't have time to deal with a needy patient because they're short staffed, but as leaving there we're 5 staff members under a patio area gossiping and smoking. It's truly sad my friends uncle went to the local hospital and begged them not to return him. On top of it it's so hot in there only place that has ac is the lobby.

Very outdated facility. A lot of paper is used and electronic charting is not possible at the moment. Apparently they are working to get it back online, but there has not been much progress. A lot of infrastructure here is in need of being replaced. Cabinets are old and falling apart in some cases. There is not much room to work with two patients per room. The facility is also near a zone in which a lot of crime is prevalent. Especially at night. There have been cases of people breaking in to hide from law enforcement. Apparently, there are leaks in the roofs when it rains. Potential mold issue. Supplies can be hard to obtain sometimes. There would be shortages of wipes or briefs for example. Plumbing in the whole facility is in need of repairs. Some sinks wont stop running. Actual hand soap is hard to find. Hand sanitizer which can only do so much against heavy soiled hands. The gloves are cheap and rip easily. A lot of the residents here are allowed to smoke which is quite interesting coming from facilities that prohibit smoking on campus. If you are looking to get quick money, then this is the place. A lot of drama goes on here. Everything is in need of desperate work and improvements. Management is eh. Would be concerned about personal own well being here.

My uncle was at Miracle Hill for 20 days for rehab and he didn't like it. When he was there for two years, he liked it, but when he went back for rehab, it wasn't quite as good. It's not that they didn't do what they needed, but for whatever reason, he said next time he would not select it. He only did physical therapy. They did housekeeping and they brought him his food. He liked the food and the physical therapy was good. The nursing staff was excellent, but the CNAs who gave him a bath were a 2.

The new wing is what they took us to when we toured the facility. Where they put my husband was horrible! The bed was rusted, the dresser broken, they refused to use the depends I brought from home and placed towels between his legs to pee on. I have photos! One day in November, it was cold and raining, I came in to find him in bed naked with just a sheet, shaking from cold and the window open. He was on a 24 hour feeding tube, that was always off or empty. What a nightmare. The kicker was told “we are only getting $400 a day for his care”. Last I checked 30 days times 400 is $12,000 a month! Removed him within 2 weeks from this hell.

My Mother is currently residing at Miracle Hill Nursing & Rehab Center (MH). My first impression as I walked in the facility...it did not have that 'permanent odor' like the other facilities. The second reason I chose MH it was Christian based. My Mother likes it there and says she can socialize with people all day and likes the staff. The key to making sure your loved ones are properly taken care of in any facility, is to visit them often, get acquainted with the Administrator of the facility, especially Certified Nurses Assistants, License Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses and all the others who take care of them. Go to their Care Plan appointments every quarter and address issues immediately.

The only place that I’ve been to is Miracle Hill. They’re garbage. There are two people per room. Looked like they had slime on the walls or something like that. I wouldn’t let my enemy or my parent’s enemy be put in there. It’s also a fact they’re rude individuals. They really don’t care. The doctor’s order was never for him to lay flat, and they laid him flat for 3 to 4 days. We have to fight for my dad’s social security and disability because he’s 62 and he has dementia. He’s never had anger issues with anybody all his life. And in fact, my father is not a violent person at all, and has never been a violent person. They told the police that he was sitting and swinging around, and fell. They took him to a center and right after that, they sent us a bill worth $3,000.

my fist impression was that was neat and clean, and didn't smell like other facillites I have visited. My room was like others with windows looking across grass and trees. It was, the cleanest place i have ever been. The nurses etc were awesome. They treated me with care and respect. My injury was my leg so with a wheel chair I could check out everything. The kitchen, meeting hall, excerise rooms were always clean and oder free. they kept up with my meds to the point they would find me to give them to me. Some may feel the downside was I was the minority. The staff and the other clients were friendly to the point of sitting in the hall and asking if the blonde lady had been by yet. Friendly, consiencious, comfortable and nose happy place to be.

Compared to others I have been in, Miracle Hill was well-staffed, clean and didn't smell bad. Bonita said the food was good for an institution...better than the hospital's. She received good physical therapy and went to one of her children's homes a few weeks later.

Miracle is the perfect name for this facility. You are revived and soothed just when you drive up on the premises. My client couldnt have been more pleased when she got here. Her family came along when we did a walk-through and staff is great. They alread have state reports available, which indicated that they had nothing to hide.
