My mother-in-law has moved into Watercrest St. Lucie West. We had three places that were in the area that she was interested in, and this place was the brightest. The others were darker. The residents seemed to be much more active than the other places we looked at. It's assisted living and they have five different levels of care depending on the need. One of the things that I liked about it is people can come down anytime they want to eat. There's no designated time for each meal. It's restaurant-style dining and they seem to give a lot of options. They have a lot of activities. They've got a pool, a gym, and places for people to go and cook, but the cleanliness leaves a little bit to be desired. They have onsite physical therapy.

Watercrest St. Lucie West is all in one building, and it's very well kept. The people were friendly. They gave us lunch, and it was delicious. The food was great. It's beautiful, and it's right next to Chick-fil-A, which is perfect. I could go out in my little wheelchair and ride around to the Chick-fil-A drive-thru, get something, and go back. They were just very nice, and it was a beautiful location there. They showed us a studio and a one-bedroom. The studio is good if you don't have a lot of crafts. I have a lot of crafts, so it was just too small for me. But the one-bedroom was good. There was a nice closet space and storage space there, and I believe it has a mini kitchen, and it was very nice. They supplied a microwave and a little refrigerator. It was very nice because you get three meals a day that you don't need that much. Everything is beautiful, but you have to pay for everything. I would like to go there if I could afford it. The person who took me around was very good. She knew everything about everything. She was very nice. The food was very good. It was a delicious lunch. We were served immediately. The waitress came over, took our order, and 5 minutes later, the food was out. The place was very clean. It's a good atmosphere. I was very impressed.

My husband is a resident of Watercrest St. Lucie West. They need more aides. I know memory care has locked down procedures, but trying to get somebody to get you in there or out of there is a hassle. It's double locked, so you have to get somebody from the front desk to let you in through these two doors, and there isn't always anybody there. I usually have to go into the dining area to find somebody, so it's not easy to get out. I have a hard time finding anybody, like if I see my husband trying to get out of bed by himself, which he's not supposed to use the bathroom, there's no call out or anything. I have to walk down a long hall to find somebody, so the aides are not readily available. I've eaten there with my husband, and the food is good. They have one activity director there. When she's on, she's good. But usually, they're just playing ball, and that's the only activity I've seen my husband participate in, so they need to encourage people more for the activities. They had a nice barbecue pool party recently. However, if I hadn't gone over there and brought my husband to the pool party, he wouldn't have been able to go. But once we were there, it was great. The facility is new, but I'm not happy with the care. Housekeeping could be better. The main reason I chose Watercrest is that it's right around the corner from where I live. It is more expensive than most places, and there is no military discount.

Watercrest St. Lucie West had a very open, inviting, and modern interior. They got nicely appointed apartments, friendly staff, beautiful and inviting outdoor gardens, and a water view. The executive director was friendly and professional, too.

What I don't like about Watercrest St. Lucie West is that it's like a prison. That's the only thing I don't like about it. It's neat and clean. The food is OK. It's not bad, it's not good. It's right in between. The staff is very helpful and very kind. I'll be getting a one-bedroom with a bath and a small kitchen. The place is 5 minutes from my house; I could almost walk there. They have a pool, but I don't know the other amenities at all. They will show all the plans they have for the week, and you can pick one up every day at the desk. They are all pretty nice people. The maintenance of the place is excellent. They need a more male population. It is about 90% females and there are only about 10% males.

My mother is in Watercrest St. Lucie West. It's practically brand new, and it's beautiful. It looks like a Disney resort. It's gorgeous. It's got big windows with courtyards, lots of light, high ceilings, all new, very beautifully decorated, beautiful art on the walls, and water features. I worked with the community director. We worked out a wonderful care plan, price plan, and an apartment for my mom. She was incredibly helpful and incredibly generous in finding out the most affordable thing for what we needed. It's wonderful. The food is wonderful. The amenities are wonderful. The activities are fun. They have a cocktail hour every day with karaoke. The director goes around and serves cocktails to the people. It's just lovely, and it was affordable as far as these sorts of things go. I looked at a few places and nothing came close to it. There are three different levels of assisted living depending on what you need.

I visited Watercrest St Lucie West, and I believe that's where my parents are going to be residing. It's assisted living. It's a beautiful facility inside. The rooms are adequately sized, depending on what your needs are. They have beautiful surroundings, it overlooks a lake, and there's a beautiful pool. It has all the amenities in there, like a hair salon, physical therapy in the building, and activities. The people there seemed happy.

My Grandpa is a resident. He is very happy at Watercrest. Things have been difficult during the lockdown due to Covid-19 however the staff is going over and above to make sure there is communication with the families and make sure the residents are well taken care of. For Mother's Day they had a drive by parade so the families could wave to their Mom's and Grandma's. Father's Day there was a drive thru car show. Just a few things out of the box with social distancing in place. The staff is doing everything they can to keep everyone safe during these unprecedented times.

I saw everything at Watercrest St. Lucie West except for the memory care. It's a wonderful community, but it didn't have enough parking for visitors. My interaction with the staff was great. They had a screen up, memory games, puzzles, and they take people out on shopping expeditions.

The experience that i have had in the last few months is poor. The place is beautiful. The dining room has varied menu. Th problem is the help in the dining room. They have left most of the people that were hired when the facility opened in April go. Hired young kids who don't know how or when to fill a glass of water or a cup of coffee when requested. Pizza was burned , stew was as if they opened a can of Dinty Moores beef stew and practically inedible. Service was so bad we had to wait a half hour for our dinner order to be taken. Then another 25 minutes for it to be brought out one dinner at a time (we were 6 of us). Last to be brought out was the pizza (2 dinners ordered) the second one (also burnt)was brought out as were were leaving and we told them to box it as we had to leave. P.S. The coffee was ordered when we sat down and brought when we were getting up to leave.

Watercrest St. Lucie West was very nice, brand new, up to date, clean, and in a convenient location. They have all kinds of activities for the residents. The staff was very professional and had a lot of confidence with their ability to help.

My grandmother has moved into Watercrest St. Lucie West. I'm having some issues with it right now. However, the place is beautiful. The staff seems OK. Her apartment is beautiful and big. There's a small kitchen without a stove and has a small microwave, a small refrigerator, and a small sink. There's a washer and dryer unit, a small living room, a big closet, a small bedroom with a separate door, and a bathroom. The activities are great. They give you their Watercrest money so you can go to an auction and buy stuff, which is fun. They do music, play bingo, and go out. The location is great. The building and the location is phenomenal. It is very easy to get to.

I'm moving into Watercrest. I like it because it's nice, new, and bright. The staff seems very good. The food has been good. They have a pool for exercise, game room, exercise room, and trips to church and shopping. The rooms are brand new.
