I like living here at Palms at St. Lucie West. The food and the programs they have are good. I have no complaints. I would recommend this to anybody who wants to live here. I play Bingo every day and I have my own TV. I usually try to get involved in whatever they have. I'm quite happy here. Everybody's helpful and friendly. I have no complaints at all, except the food is too good and I'm gaining weight. The place is nice. They keep everything nice. They have good activities. The rooms are roomy. I have a really large walk-in with a little kitchenette and a small area for my computer and desk and you walk into this big area where my bed and chair and furniture are. It's fine for a single person, and to me it's perfect.

Palms at St. Lucie West was a very good location for us because it's only one mile away from where we live right now and we're familiar with the locale, the stores, and the whole thing. It's a good area of Cashmere so that's a high factor. I liked the openness and the friendliness of the place. The activities seemed to be pretty good. The rooms were nice and the meals were above average. The only problem is that there are not too many spaces available and it's one of the smaller places.

I toured Palms at St. Lucie West. The overall cost was the least expensive of the three we toured. They seemed to have larger apartments and they have a higher level of nursing skills there. The staff was very easy to work with, very knowledgeable and she has been there for a long time. I felt very comfortable with her. It was just very dark, which we found not for somebody who wants to be active. People tended to stay in their rooms more, and I think because they cater to people who need more care. I think it's just natural that they're a less active community. It's a relatively small place and there are not a whole lot of amenities.

I toured The Palms at St. Lucie West. It was really nice. I like the way it's laid out and how they have the people there. The only thing is the price. The staff are really, really nice. The way it looks like the residents love them. They look like they really care. They showed us everything. They have private rooms and semi-private rooms. Both of them are really nice. Of course, the private rooms are more expensive, too. They look really nice and clean. The eating area is really nice. You feel like you're going into a restaurant. They even bring the dog once a week and everybody play with it.

What I liked the most about Palms at St. Lucie West was the sense of familiarity that the employees had with the residents and that they seemed to be pretty caring. I liked how they were dealing with them. I saw them doing some activities, like playing bingo and stuff. We toured the memory care area and I liked their level of interest in the residents. They had a lot of activities and I thought the rooms were nice, clean, and well cared for.

I went to The Palms at St. Lucie West. The tour was very nice. The lady was very informative. She showed me around and everything. The facility was old-fashioned and that's what my mother probably would like. They offered food, but I wasn't hungry at the time. They gave me some homemade cookies, which were good. The staff showed me everything like the sitting area, the place where they eat, the place where they watch TV, and the place where they play games and stuff like that. The rooms were tiny, but you don't want them to stay in the room and you want them to get out. That's the whole idea, not to stay in the room. The tour was very good. The staff was very nice.

The Palms of St. Lucie West was nice. The facility looked very clean. I met the administrator and she was very nice. They had groups with doctors coming in to talk to people.

Palms at St. Lucie West is very nice, but it wasn't as beautiful or comfortable as the place we chose. The person who showed us around was very nice, and kept checking back in with us. We checked the dining area, and it was lovely. Really nice. There were many people playing cards. They probably almost have the same calendar as most places.

Palms of St. Lucie West and its rooms were very lovely. They did not have a lot of amenities, but they had a pool and a bus that travelled to certain areas in the town. The apartments we saw had their own mini-kitchen.

We're in Palms of St. Lucie West. They're very caring and nice. My husband's been sick for a while, so we've been getting our meals in our unit at o extra charge, which is very wonderful. There's no smell at all. We're in the independent side.

There seemed to be small but separate, nice, one-story complexes at the Palms at St. Lucie West. It didn't have the greatest programs, and they were not very active. The meals were in the main building. We ate there, and the food was good. They were less expensive, so it’s a good value for the cost.

The rooms of the Palms at St. Lucie were not as nice as the other places that I saw. They were OK, but they didn’t have what I wanted. It wasn’t for me. One thing they didn’t have -- which I enjoy -- is a swimming pool, and I don’t remember them having recreational rooms either.

I liked Palms at St. Lucie West very much. It was my favorite of all. I liked it the best because they have a beautiful dining room, very caring staff, the layout itself was to my liking, and I thought it was very pretty. It was very modern and very professional, and they seemed very caring.

My overall impression of the Palms at St. Lucie West was good. The director was wonderful, but I wasn't crazy about the nurse. Overall, it's a wonderful facility. Their assisted facility and dining room were marvelous, and the staff was good. The food was good. My friend gained 10 pounds in the month that she was there. The regular dining room is beautiful, and their dining staff was wonderful. Their activity list was very full. I'd give them a 5 for the activity list. They have a house dog and pets. The residents are very happy.

My mom is going into the Palms at St. Lucie West. The best things about the place are that it is clean, everybody speaks English, and everybody knows what is going on. You can have a studio, you can have a one-bedroom, or you can have a duplex-like home. The common dining room is pretty much like any other dining room, but it is fairly big.

I did get to see the swimming pool at The Palms. The facility was very nice. However, the living arrangements were a little too small, so I didn't like it. The apartment was too small. Nevertheless, the facility was clean and everything, and the price was fine too.

The first facility I've visited was Palms at St. Lucie West. They treated me very nicely, and their presentation was excellent. And what I like about this place is that it's very small. They have a lot of activities going on. There was music coming in. They play bingo. There's always food available. I was able to speak to the chef, and their food is of very high quality. It was excellent.

The Palms is beautiful but a little more expensive. I went to check it; it is beautiful and it is clean. They have good people, and everybody takes care of you so nicely. They have a beauty parlor. They have everything beautiful except that you have to bring your own bed and things because the room is empty. The food is beautiful, and it is better than a restaurant. They have a room where you can put a full bed, a chair, and a television. It has a small fridge, microwave, and bathroom with bars. It is a good place.

The Palms of St. Lucie West is a very, very nice place, but the amount they wanted was just too much for us. We didn’t really see the rooms because they told us nothing was available.

My mom is in Palms at St. Lucie West, and the place is good. The staff is very nice and very friendly. They are also attentive. She said the food is better now than it was when she first moved there. They have activities like bingo, arts and crafts, bible study, and singing. They also go out for lunch.

I went to The Palms. I thought they were lovely, and if I decided I was going to go, that's where I would probably would move to. It was very nice. They were roomy. The lady over there was very nice, but like I said, I was not ready to go yet. They had a pool and a clubhouse. They had games like cards and things like that. The staff was very nice to deal with.

The Palms was very nice. The homes were smaller. The staff was very nice, and the people were friendly, but they’re all very old. They had regular dining room, and it was very nice. We just dealt with the manager, and she was very friendly. The people that we observed with the residents; they seemed to be very caring. The rooms look adequate, but we are more interested in the homes not the rooms. The location is OK.

We went to the Palms, and they welcomed us really nicely. Everything was really good. When we saw its restaurant, we saw everybody eating, and the facility was really, really clean. They took us on a tour, and they had a couple of ladies there that showed us their living quarters. We were very impressed with them. The living quarters were small, but they were efficient. People were really accommodating. They showed us the entire facility, and they said if we have any questions, we could call them at any time. They were just extremely helpful.

I compared The Palms of St. Lucie West to other facilities in the area and they're nicer. The reason I went with this facility was because I like the staff. They were so warm and welcoming to the people that live there. They make this facility their home. The staff is wonderful to my parents. So far, my parents have been there for seven months now. They are very compassionate and they take very good care of them. I don't worry about them being there. The administration works with you with whatever difficulties that may come up. They work with the families. They also have assisted living and memory care there. I would give this facility a high rating. In fact, I have recommended them to others.

The Palms at St. Lucie West's price and location is comfortable for me. I like it but there were no openings at the time I visited it. There are a bunch of candidates waiting and the list is very long. It was very good and very nice facility. Their staff was very good. Their residents were very independent.

When you come in at Palms at St. Lucie West, they did have somebody at the doorway to see who was coming in or out. It was a very nice facility. It's also very clean and I didn’t notice any smell there. They have a very nice garden and access to the gardens even the memory people, so that was a very nice thing. They had games and a lot of people were playing bingo. They were nice to share their menu. The staff were very friendly and also very nice. They were also very sympathetic. For me, it was a little expensive because it’s solely private pay.

My Mom has lived at The Palms for the past four years. I am truly impressed with all the wonderful and caring staff members. I feel comfortable with her living at The Palms, and it has given me peace of mind. She goes out to lunch every week and has made friends with all the staff.

Since Alton has been hired as Director, The Palms has made many important improvements. It was an OK place before but now I would rate it as good. My parents always say how nice the staff is to them. The food in the diningroom is very good, with a nice selection and some items available all the time. There are activities available for all levels of care. The director in the Memory Care area is very upbeat, respectful, kind and creative. All the staff from nursing, med techs, aids, housekeeping, dining facility are very helpful, courteous and friendly. (Of course, I believe it is always the responsibility of the family of the resident(s) to keep on top of things). Alton is very easy to talk to and I am very impressed about how quickly he takes care of the requests which I have suggested.

As soon as we entered the door of Palms, my mom said that it wasn't what she wanted. The lobby entrance was very small and it did not appear professional. There were people shouting back at the floors. It was small and cluttered and not really very inviting. The woman that sat down and talked with us seemed very agitated. She was not calm and welcoming. She seemed very high strung. The set up for the independent living were actually separate villas. So, she wouldn't be in a group of people. My mom wanted to be around with people. The place was not calming and welcoming.

The Palms of St Lucie West is the most wonderful place for my family members. Two years ago my Aunt was moved from San Diego California to live by me and I was overwhelmed with the process of finding an assisted living facility that would provide her with a caring supportive lifestyle. I toured many facilities and finally chose The Palms. They more than exceeded my expectations and not only did they support my Aunt, but provided me with so much information and help I will always be grateful to them. My Aunt sadly passed away this last February and I immediately added my Mother's name to the waiting list1. This month she moved into their Memory Care Facility and is thriving. My mother had been in two facilities in Oregon with many problems, but now that she is at The Palms, things are going so well my brother and sisters are relieved and ecstatic. I cannot say enough about The Palms, every level of this operation is top-notch and professional in every way. I visit several times a week and the place is just buzzing with positive activities, music and fun. The staff have become our friends and the relationship we have has given me such peace of mind knowing that my Mom is being cared for and loved by these remarkable people. I am so grateful I found them!!!!!

When it came time to move my father into an Assisted Living Facility, I shopped around and had visited the Palms. My first choice was not to go with due to their size (being afraid, my dad wouldn't get the attention I felt he needed as it was a somewhat large facility). So I opted for a smaller facility, which turned out to be a bad choice on my part. After a year in the smaller facility it was time for a change, I went back and revisited the Palms. Just like the first visit, the staff were friendly and welcoming. My father and I had decided we would give them a try. We are so happy we did. The staff are simply amazing! The care that they provide my father with comes from the heart. The nursing staff show a true genuine concern for my father and his well being. The support staff are consistent with their follow through to meet my fathers needs. The dinning room staff are wonderful in the ability to make each meal an enjoyable experience. Not to mention the food is fantastic. They provide many activities that meet my fathers needs as well as the privacy he expects. The folks at the Palms have grown to be more than just staff at a facility, the are a warm, loving, caring part of our family and we thank them.

The Palms has a good reputation. It is about 5 minutes from where I live. My husband has been there for about 3 months now. He's doing pretty good and he's comfortable in there. I spend most Sundays with him. I think they have about 48 people in the whole place. It's not that big. He said the food is pretty good, the staff is very nice and very concerned. He was going into an assisted living unit. However, he had an incident the first week he was there, in which I was upset about. He got confused one night and went into the wrong room. Since then, we have him in the memory care unit to make sure that he doesn't wander at night anymore. I am not thrilled about it, but he's comfortable there and he's safe. He does participate in some activities. They're very good about giving him his pills, medication and they help him with his hearing aid. They keep the room clean and do the laundry. He doesn't complain much about it.
