Life Care Center at Wells Crossing was excellent. I had no complaints about staying in that place. The only problem with them was that they don't have very many private rooms, and you have to have a doctor requested. Otherwise, you end up in two to a room. They also have a chef that just loves to put spices and everything and not everybody likes to have spices put into their peas or carrots or even their mashed potatoes. Other than that, the things that they do for their residents were the whole nine yards. They have an activities room and a day room where they do a lot of activities They play bingo, do a lot of trivia, and play mini-games that would help increase your coordination and ability to function. They have reading, movies, and even an ice cream parlor that you can go to on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Plus, it's free. Another thing is you can notify the kitchen that you want to have dinner with somebody and they will make an extra plate for that person. So, they encourage the family to participate.

My mother was a patient at Life Care Center at Wells Crossing and the experience for she and I was great. Although she always said that she never wanted to be placed at a rehab facility she needed rehab services after an illness and she says that she loved it. The nursing staff were attentive and caring if they didn’t have the answer to a question they were quick to find someone who did. The therapist were great as well my mother is at home now and doing great. We thank the staff and management at Wells Crossing for all of their hard work and dedication. We definitely would use their services again in the future and would recommend them to others as well.

Life Care Center at Wells Crossing was very attractive and clean. The staff was courteous, and I visited their physical therapy department -- which looked normal for what it was. I couldn't have any complaints. My friends' room was small but nice and clean. They were my neighbors, and they're sharing a room, but they seemed to be happy with what they have to live with.

My grandmother and my dad stayed at Life Care. The staff was very nice to me every time I went there, and they seemed to be on top of things. The rehabilitation part was really good. My grandmother had a shared room when she was there and so was my dad. They had very nice rooms. They were clean and had enough space. I thought they were really good. Their physical therapy was very good, and their therapists were very good. Depending on how much you would want to go along with the program would determine on how much they would get out of it, but they had nurses all the time, and they were very attentive. So, both my grandmother and my dad were good to go there for at least a little time. I would recommend them.

When i volunteered at this facility i had the privilege to get a tour of the kitchen area. Which is very important in defining the health risks for the residents, and everything looked clean and organized, also the workers were using their thermometers, we played Bingo with the residents, and had service on Sundays, the nurses seem to be nice, "most of them". I just wish there was some more activities to do like other different games for them to play, but overall the place is clean, and very friendly whit residents with special needs like diabetics, and people with Alzheimers, we went also to read books to them, and I had a great time whit all the resident which i miss very much i hope to be able to have more time to volunteer in the future. To me the nurses were very responsible with the care that hey were giving, and had a lot of knowledge of their job,as good moral values, and not neglecting or not paying attention to the needs of the residents.

As I entered the waiting room area, there was an employee who greeted me and then got me signed in. Within seconds, a nurse and provided a warm welcoming smile and said, Welcome to you today! How are you doing this afternoon? The nurse continued the conversation by saying, How may I help you? When I stated that I was visiting my mom, the nurse said, You got the right place and we welcome your business. Thank you for coming in today. I can take you to her. She is playing Bingo. Would your children like some ice cream first? We were escorted to the ice cream shop. The children were amazed to see these chocolate, frozen, treats! Next stop was Bingo! Mom looked great as she sat around a clean table. The place was hopping. At least fifteen seniors were joyfully placing their chips on their boards as the caller pulled new numbers. The caller spoke in an upbeat, even tone that was easy to understand. Continuing to explore my needs the nurse questioned me by saying, Would you like a tour? The children can help their Grandma while we are gone. The nurse explored my needs by asking multiple open ended question to determine which area to visit first. The nurse used the next few minutes to provide me with a first hand look the features available here. The features included a sparkling clean outdoor area with the view of a pond, a fully staffed exercise/therapy room, and multiple private rooms to spend quality alone time with Mom and the family. This location had multiple wings that featured recently redecorated rooms and a centrally located nurse's station. This nurse stood out positively because she had a can-do attitude and a positive word for the co-workers of this location. This location had adequate nurses to handle the flow of residents and their families. My nurse provided effective communication, service in a timely manner and was able to provide multiple brochures that explained the features of the nursing home. At the end of our conversation, the nurse said goodbye and offered to help me at any point needed during my visit. I was thanked for my visit. The attention to detail and the professionalism shown to me during this interaction were outstanding. This type of service would not make me hesitate to use this location. Mom is very happy here. She has one roommate who is a real joy to be around. This is a top notch facility! Thank you for the great nursing home!
