My dad has been at the Palace for rehab for 2 and 1/2 weeks now. It's excellent and the food and the care is good. He's always very clean when I get there, and they let me know what's going on. They're always on top of things. If you call ahead, they can bring you lunch or dinner, and the food is really good. They have a lot of activities. They asked what kind of activities he liked before he moved in and they even have activities the family can participate in.

My mother was there for 2 nights she is 95 but always in good spirits. She does everything for herself, but she fell and broke both hands. When I went to see her on the second morning, because u can’t stay there overnight, she had taken off all the wrapping on her hand and arm with the hand that was showing just the tip of her fingers. So it would have taken at least a minimum of three hours to remove it. That means nobody checked on her during the night. We had to bring my mother back to the hospital to recheck her arm, take new X-rays etc. This place SUCKS! If you care for your loved ones do not take them there. They are very incompetent, irresponsible and they don’t look after the patient. this time when she is released from the hospital she is going to the house. She definitely is not going to that dump! Don’t let the pretty pictures of the place fool you.

I went to visit a friend as was appalled with how bad the service and care at this facility. Her bed was not working, tray with cold food was sitting next to her and no one sat her up to eat it. She was sitting in a compode for over one hour before she had to called them to get her back into bed. I thought as the days progressed things would get better but no only worse. No schedule for therapies. They come when they want. Yesterday it was to be around 11am but they showed up after 2pm. I will never refer anyone to this facility. I do not see how others claim it is a great place.

I visited Palace (Palace at Kendall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center). It looked very nice on the outside, but on the inside, it was very depressing. The rooms were very dark. The place had a very depressing setup, and the beds were small. You might fall out of the bed since they were very old. The bathrooms were not the best, either. They smelled and were not clean. The Palace gives you the impression that they're very nice and very exclusive. Even their portfolio looked like you want to go there and be there, but not when you're in there. It doesn't meet the standards set in the catalog. They have a lot of people who smoke but don't have a big enough area for the non-smoking people. People were on oxygen, too, so that wasn't very safe.

I found the Palace for my mom, and it was excellent. They’re very caring and responsible, and they make the patients feel important. I was very pleased. There was music almost every day, they go on field trips, and there were parties. The room is very nice and very clean. There are always 2 people in the room; my mother is fine with it, and if you are not happy with your roommate, they immediately make changes. They have good food, and they will follow your diet.

Palace at Kendall has in home cooking, and it’s a very nice facility. The host lead a very good tour and was very personable, but the facility itself was somewhat outdated. The facility is older, they’re opening a new location and are relocating their residents this year. That made them very attractive.
