My mother-in-law has been at Harmony Health Center for a week now. Everything seems to be OK, but it's not a brand-new place. They have quite a few nurses on staff, and they are very friendly people. She is getting her rehab daily where they take her on a walker and she's happy that they bathe her. She's in a shared room, but we have no complaints so far. They have other activities that they do aside from the therapies. The food is not gourmet, but it's good.

Harmony Health Center was a big facility. The building itself was like a 1960's hospital. The hallways were narrow and crowded. It looked to me like there were too many patients. One hallway smelled horrendous of urine. I only interacted with the director of social services, and he was super nice and super pleasant.

GREAT place. I had to place my mother in a nursing home do to her Dementia, and I could not have chosen a better place. She was there almost two years. Mom was always clean and well taken care of, which was very important for me. Place needs a little TLC on the outside, but inside is very clean. Rooms are shared and are also very clean and are kept that way. Place has a pleasant smell, not like other places I have visited. Food was ok at first, but now it is very good. The staff is nice and friendly and try to always help you in any way. Nurses always listened to my concerns and communicated to doctors well, no problems or issues there. They do various activities thru out the week which patients and residents enjoy. Overall, its a very good place.

Great place. Nice friendly staff. My mom was there for 1 month in rehab back in August. Food was average, assistants and nurses were working as best as they could. My mom was always clean. The nurses listened to my concerns and communicated back to a doctor. Never meet the doctor or know if he ever passed by. However, the were a couple of people passing by and asking questions. Therapies were good. The resident area looked okay.

I don’t recommend this facility. My mom was there for only a week and I’ve never seen her get so sick. She was taken there for their rehabilitation program after she got COVID. She is on oxygen 100% and she can’t walk. She needs help for almost everything a normal person don’t. For 3 consecutive days when I went to see her she looked draggy. Y asked the nurse if she was sedated for any reason and she said no. I know my mother and she was sedated. I never saw any doctor in the facility and was never introduced to hers. The food was terrible. She couldn’t eat it and the presentation of it was poor. They had someone of their staff with COVID and they cancelled all visitation privileges but people kept coming in to visit the patients. When it rains, the roof leaks. You can see bed sheets in the floor on the leaking areas. My mom had her heart rate extremely high. She called the nurse at 3:00 AM and they never came until 8:00 AM. Never said anything to me. I asked to get it transferred to the hospital because her blood pressure was very high and so was her heart rate. When she got to the hospital we were told her lungs were filled with fluid and she also had an urinary infection. They took over a liter of fluid from each lung. We sent her there thinking the therapy was going to make her stronger and better. Do not send your loved ones there!

My grandmother is in Harmony Health Center for rehab. It's very clean, they're very good with the patients, and the only concern is that they have more patients than they have staff, but that is more so in the rehab unit than the nursing home unit. It's a three-story building, but I didn't see any private rooms. They're all shared rooms and the furniture is old, but it's very clean and they keep it that way. When you walk in it smells pleasant. Her doctor comes in every day for her ulcer, and they're good about the rehab.

I visited Harmony (Harmony Health Center). It looks amicable from the outside and humongous, but the setup was not inviting at all. It didn't give me the sense of security that I would like. The entrance had high steps, and most of the elderly people have walkers, so that they cannot use the steps. They have to go all the way to the back and ring a doorbell for somebody in front to go back and open the door for them, which is not nice for an elderly person to have to do. I don't like that at all. It was too crowded. It looked clean, but it didn't smell clean.
