Sonata Viera Assisted Living is a wonderful place. I moved here last July. It's just like a country club where you get a big dining room and facilities for recreation. The rooms are like miniature suites. They have cooking facilities, a small fridge, and a microwave. They also have a private bath and a closet. All the suites are furnished. The staff is great. Anything that you need, the staff is right there to take care of it. We have an alert accessory that each person wears and within five minutes, one of the staff will be there to find out what your problem is.

Sonata Viera Assisted Living was very clean, professional, organized, and nice. There were like three or four different types of rooms available. They had a two-bedroom and we liked that quite a bit. The others were not as large as we would have liked. The staff was very professional and gave us really good information. We were not able to check the food, but we've gotten an email from the lady who was responsible for the publicity and the showing, and we've been invited again. We'll probably go down there again to ask more questions and to sample the food. They have cards and games and a nice area to walk in and things like that.

Activities Director is very professional & caring. Destiny is a hard worker always goes the extra mile! Brought my Dad safely to the VA Clinic and made sure he got back too! My brother who suffered a massive stroke 3 years ago enjoys the service from St John’s church, 2 lovely ladies have church service on Tuesday’s!

The staff at Sonata Viera was amazingly kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to really talk to me. They were just finishing lunch as I got there, and everybody seemed to be very pleased. The facility was very convenient and very homelike. I saw people were putting together puzzles, playing cards, and in the gym. The rooms were very well-appointed, and very comfortable.

Poor quality of care. Mom had an undiagnosed UTI for several months. She was transferred to Sonata just before Covid hit. A visit by my sister revealed Mom sitting catatonic in a chair after having been assured that Mom had been tested for UTI. Check of medical records reveal no test had been done. Irreversible damage including progression of dementia. If your loved one needs higher level of assisted living, don not go here!

My mother lived at Sonata Viera for about a year. The staff was so helpful and nice, always there when she needed something. I felt she was treated like family. I saw many of the staff return after hours with their children to attend family activities with residents that had no family in the area. The food was incredible and she loved every meal. My mother gained strength with regular nutritious meals and the physical therapy that she had at Sonata. They have a bus to take residents to doctor appointments and local field trips. Mom enjoyed her weekly hair appointments and the daily activities. The ice cream social and bingo were her favorites. My grandchildren loved to visit her and talk to the residents and the staff. Mom made some great friends here. She felt like Sonata was home and we could not have been happier with this ALF.

Sonata Viera's staff is great. Whatever needs to be done, they do it. He has studio which is an open room with an area for a bed, and an expanded for a TV/sitting area. My uncle has a TV and recliner chairs in his room, and he's able to sit in there comfortably. They have some card games and activities for people who are a little bit more mobile. They also have ice cream socials. There's an exercise room that's only used for contracted physical therapists but not open to the residents for use, and they have a bus that takes them shopping two days a week and to doctors' appointments within certain time frames. It has worked out well for my uncle and he is fairly happy with the meals.

This community has vastly improved since it became Sonata Viera! The new management has made many improvements to not only the building but to the quality of living for the residence. In the last couple of months the morale of the staff and residents has increased tremendously! Sonata has brought in seasoned staff that provide a solid foundation of quality care and fresh new faces that are providing a renewed energy, changing the atmosphere of a previously drab facility. Although my loved one is not quite ready for senior living, Sonata Viera is my first choice when the time comes. If you need senior living for your loved one, with a lively atmosphere, caring staff, where your family member will feel at home, this is it!

When this community was Viera Manor it was 5 star! Since the new management company has come in they have destroyed the place. It was a home now it’s an institution. If my loved one could tolerate the move I would be gone. I am searching as are many others to get out of this awful place. The staff is leaving they were long term employees who loved and provided great care. It’s so sad. I don’t recommend Sonata. The renovations maybe gorgeous but the care is awful and the management pretends to care in reality they don’t run a good ship.

Sonata Viera was very good and nice. The staff was very nice, and everything was nice. The rooms were not as large and were on a smaller scale, but the apartments were actually bigger square footage wise, and the rates were less expensive than other places, but still too expensive. They had different things going on.

My parents are in Viera Manor. The staff is great. It is the prettiest facility I was ever in. The apartments are very well-appointed with a lot of room and a separate bedroom, which is very nice, and I thought it was very enjoyable. I’d live there myself if I could. They have a beautiful veranda for the patients to sit on comfortable rocking and stationary chairs. They have tables so you could sit there with their cooler of cold water right there.

Viera Manor was not luxurious but had a comfortable environment. The others we saw were kind of intimidating, but Viera Manor was more relaxing and had all the same amenities as others. The facility was right next to the VA hospital and offer veteran discounts, which is helpful. They have a nursing station on each floor with nurses there 24 hours a day. We liked it. They just need more physical amenities, like more chandeliers and more fireplaces.

Everything was good at Viera Manor. The guys were awesome and the building was fine. The room was 1,200 square feet, had two bedrooms and two baths, and was really nice. The atmosphere was comfortable; it reminded me of a cruise ship, and a lot of people like that feeling.

My mother and father in-law have lived in Viera Manor for more than 2.5 years. I assessed over 100 assisted living facilities in Florida and California. I then visited about 20 facilities before we selected Viera Manor. The management and key staff have been outstanding. They help my father-in-law and mother-in-law in so many ways. My detailed assessment had an important criteria of 24/7 nurse staff. Very few facilities truly offer 24/7 nurse staff. The proximity to VA clinic has been important. I did try the meals in many facilities and I have had a meal about 25 times at Viera Manor. The meals have been balanced, healthy and good. I will say one facility had restaurant like meals (nearly fine cuisine) but charged more than $1400 more per month with significantly less nurse staff and operational nurse hours. Still after 2.5 years I would give it a 5 star. I am there about 20% of the days each year for over 2 years so I really get to see the operation. Thanks to all the staff at Viera Manor our family sleeps well and we know my mother-in-law and father-in-law have great comfort and care.

Viera Manor is a beautiful place. It is very new at just about one year old. The prices are ridiculous for a studio with a nice, big bathroom, a little kitchen area, and a big living room/bedroom. You have your own room, not shared, that costs about $33,000 or $32,000. It was beautiful. They have activities. It was a really nice place, but the price was just the starting price because they do an evaluation of the care the resident would need. They have a doctor on-call if someone needs one.

We were very impressed with Viera Manor Assisted Living. The staff was very helpful, very forthright, and answered all our questions. I think they offer a couple of more services than the facility that my father is in right now. Their closeness to the VA stands out, and they really cater to veterans there.

The amenities are beautiful, but the management is atrocious and cheap. The food was good two years ago, but they cannot retain good chefs. The food is $6/plate and pretty much inedible. Most of the hands on working staff are great people. Overall, I would say that if you are considering placing your parents there, keep looking. Looks can be deceiving and in this case they are. The management needs to be replaced or they will go under.

We had no opportunity with any of the residents at Viera Manor. It was strictly the sales and marketing director who provided a very nice tour and explanation of the amenities and the activities. The biggest problem of that place is that it is prohibitively expensive, and there is no way that my mom would be able to live there. However, it is a place that I would move in to tomorrow if I could. It literally looks like an embassy suites for elderly folks. It’s a very impressive and brand new.

I was going to move to Viera Manor because of the difference in price. It’s a VA function, and I would have saved about a thousand dollars a month. The Viera Manor seemed nice. We ate a meal there; you ate what the chef cooked. I went with another fellow, and they told me the activities.

Viera Manor was extremely nice. The apartments were very impressive. I enjoyed the whole setup and everything about it. I like the environment because it was right next to an area of community. It was new.

My parents have been in Viera Manor for a month now, and they seem to enjoy it. We chose it because it is very new, neat, and clean. Everything is pristine. All the furniture is brand new. They also took my father-in-law as a vet. So, he does some sessions there. It helps out a lot in paying for it. It is also close by us, so we are always there, all the time. Everything is clean, and all the people we meet are very helpful and caring. I always ask them, all the time, "How's the food?" They always have another option if they don't like what is being served that day. They can choose from a different menu of things that they make on a daily basis, like hamburgers. So, they don't always have to eat, if they don't like what is the main meal. They can always choose from other meals. So, they do have an option. The rooms have never been used before, and they have a refrigerator in their room, where they can have juice and water. They also have a microwave, so they can heat up everything, like if they go out for dinner and have leftovers, they can always heat things up. So, it really works out fantastic. They provide a bus, and they are able to go on outings, like taking them to churches and restaurants and to do a lot of things. They do things on a daily basis, and then they have weekly ice cream events. They have met a lot of people already. It seems to be a nice area. It takes a lot off of our minds to know that they are in a community that is caring for them very well. So, we are impressed with everything. I will definitely recommend them.

We were very impressed with The Viera Manor. This facility was about four to five years old, and it was beautiful. It is next to the VA Building. Everything looked A+; everything looked nice. What stood out to me was the landscaping. The place was really kept meticulously. The rooms they showed us and the different activities they had there, everything looked great. Of course, the friendliness of the people there was very, very important too.

My family researched extensively assisted living facilities in the area and Viera Manor offered the best arrangement and the best value. The facility is new and a 5 star facility. The 24 hour nurse care is excellent. We have tried the meals; they are good and balanced. The facility is beautiful. The apartment sizes are large, much larger than most facilities. Viera Manor is only 2 blocks from the VA medical facility. The facility will fill up soon based on quality and value of their offering.
