Transitioning my mother to memory care from ALF was a powerful act of love and uncertainty It’s about ensuring that my mom was surrounded by compassion, patience, and the kind of care that helps them live with dignity and grace, even as dementia progresses that's why we chose Market St their highly trained staff is wonderful with mom and my family Our thanks to James, Talia, Keith all the nurses, TJ and Christine / A Granddaughter's Promise CEO - who first introduced us to this great Memory Care facility. Mom moved in this past week and thus far she's adjusting well with their wonderful care and supervision. Thank you

I was very impressed with the staff at Market Street Memory Care Residences-Viera and it seemed like it was a very happy place. I think my husband will enjoy being there once he's there. I chose it for a lot of different reasons, but he has very specific needs and I believe they will be met there. I think their professionalism is top-right. They all have single apartments and they're spacious and well designed. They bake cookies every day and it smells wonderful. The dining area looks like it's very homelike. The cleanliness was excellent.

What I liked the best about Market Street Memory Care Residence was the cleanliness and the organization of the nurses' aides and the food service. It was very well put together. The staff was great. I felt comfortable with them taking care of Mom. They seemed to be caring and attentive to what the needs were for the people that are in there. The hallways were wide enough for two people to walk by each other, with walkers or wheelchairs or whatever, without interfering. A lot of the nursing homes that we looked at had very poor layout for access in the hallways for multiple people, especially with walkers and wheelchairs. This place here was wide and the room was very good. It was big and it's probably 15 by 15, so it was a good-sized room. It's a single room. I have to provide the furniture, which is no big deal, but everyone outside their room has a shadowbox of their memories, so it keeps them active brain-wise. They have a chef there full time, and he's been there a while. It's not like it was transient as far as employees are concerned, especially on the food part of it. The food was prepared very well.

I toured Market Street Viera. The place was newly built. It's only about a mile from where I live. They seemed to have graduated programs to take advantage of the capabilities or disability level of each of the resident. I only met the escort, and she seemed very informed as to the treatment and the recreation available and the therapeutic routines. They had a very nice dining area. I saw a room, which I didn't explore in any detail, but it looked clean and efficiently laid out.

Market Street is a gorgeous place for memory care only. It is brand new. Their food is fine; not something that you find in a restaurant, of course, but it is fine for the residents. The dining room is very nice, very accommodating, and very easily accessible to the residents, and it makes them feel like they are at home. They have daily activities and do outings every so often. They have a bus available to go out to lunch at least once a month and a salon. They have games and an area for baking where they bake cookies and brownies, and the residents can help or just sample. It is very nice and expensive. The only reason we chose Market Street is because the ratio of residents to employees was almost one-on-one.

My husband is in Market Street. It is absolutely gorgeous. Everybody seems very well educated on how to deal with people like him. The food is Mediterranean and actually quite good. They have several activities that he participates in. They have painting, coloring, volleyball, walks, and various things like that. It's quite expensive but pretty much the same as other places.

My mom is in Market Street. It's a very beautiful, well-maintained, and very secure facility. It has an atmosphere of a small town. The rooms are nice and spacious, and the dining is comfortable. It's easy to get to, the hallways are very wide, and they have a lot of activities that she occasionally participates in. I would absolutely recommend it.
