Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville has a lot of events. They include people who have come in to look at the facilities and they still reach out to them, and I've been to several of their functions. It's just a beautiful place. They have everything. They have an actual movie theater. The food that the chef serves is delicious. It's top-notch. You wouldn't even have to leave its facility to go anywhere. Then they have a lot of outside excursions to museums, orchestras, and just everything you could want. For Thanksgiving, they have a "Come in and Meet the team". They do a tour and you pick up a pie that this chef made. I have their key lime pie. It was delicious. I've never had that before. I didn't think I liked that but I almost ate the whole thing. The staff is very engaging and even the people that live there, always come out and tell you how great it is.

I liked Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville. All of the staff that I met were very engaging and friendly and also engaging with the guests that were already living there. The place was fairly new. It was well-kept and presented well. They had a gym and a salon. They had doctors and dentists that would come around. If they need it, those services would be available. The apartments themselves were nice.

I have chosen Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville. It could use two more elevators, one at each end. It's a long way down and around those halls. I had several meals there. What I had was excellent. I also spoke to the chef because I'm diabetic and I have heart trouble. They have painting or any other crafts that I want to do. The staff members are wonderful. It seems to be a community. People are knitted in with other people and you're not alone. You can do as much as you want or as little as you want. But they encourage you to get out and do a lot, so that's something else I need. Living alone, you tend to become a hermit. The reasons I picked them were the friendliness and the home feeling there.

Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville was gorgeous and very modern. It's a new facility, so that would explain why everything's the best of the best. The people were very friendly. They had beautiful music piped in. It looked more like a resort. People were sitting out by the swimming pool. If they had something available, my parents would be there now, but I'm on a waiting list. The staff during the tour was great. She did everything she could to help me. They had everything there. They had swimming and their own beauty/barber shop where you could get pedicures and manicures. They have patios and balconies. The outdoor spaces were very nice. They have different units and different sizes, but the size that I wanted for my parents was not available. I haven't tried the food, but the dining area was gorgeous.

I toured Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville. The apartment sizes and types were quite impressive, as well as the number of dining facilities. It was a very complete building. They had a spa and an art room. You can live there and feel very comfortable. The person that took me on the tour was the Director of Sales. I also met the Executive Chef, and I was extremely impressed. They were very helpful and very interested. I just didn't have an opportunity to see many of the residents. Probably the only thing that I wasn't really excited about was that the first floor had patios associated with them, but you could not exit the patio into the pool area. In order to get to the pool, you had to come out of your room, go to the lobby, and then go through an exit door to the pool. It didn't seem like the patio was really worth anything.

I only saw the independent living at Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville. It was pretty, it was personal, it was pleasant to look at, and the rooms were large enough. It was practically new, so it was beautiful. I saw some people playing a game around the pool, and I saw some people enjoying themselves inside one area. There were two areas (a fireplace area and a kitchen type area) that looked out over the pool and there were people there. I'm not sure what they were doing, but they were laughing and doing whatever they were doing in there. They seem to have everything you could hope for. I can't think of the specifics right now, but they seem to have a full calendar of activities. On the upper floor, they had a place for you to get your hair done, and they had a place where you could cook or have cooking activities like a community room. They had everything you could look for, and the pool was beautiful.

Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville was very nice, and it was new. The staff was very, very pleasant. The reason that we didn't go there was that they didn't have a three-bedroom unit. They did not have a large enough unit for us (a three-bedroom apartment). The apartments were modern, new, and well-kept. The staff was excellent. The facilities were very nice, but we didn't take it. The dining area was lovely. The food was very good. We had Valentine's dinner there. It was very nice. It looked like they had a lot of things. They had a gym and a pool. They had arts and crafts, dance classes, exercise classes, and trips.
