Homestead Manor has two different halls with a recreation area and two small cafeterias. The physical and the occupational therapists were absolutely fabulous. Most of the nurses were really good. Somebody comes in to play music and they have movie days and nights. They did the best they could to provide good food.

The staff at Homestead was probably the best staff I have run across so far. The people are on the happier side, I think. They were having what they called a happy hour and gatherings.

Well the first thing I would like to begin by saying is that as far as I could tell the service provided varied greatly. Some of the people that worked there treated my own grandmother like if she was their own, but on the other hand some workers did not care about doing a good job in the way that they treated their patients. The facilities were always kept in good conditions, they were clean and the facilities were well taken care of. I will say this much, it helped me a lot to know that there were people that cared enough about their job to the point that they took good care of my dear grandmother. It helped me a lot to see that these people care about what they do and in a way put me at ease when my dear grandmother passed away after everything all I have to say is that it made an unfortunate situation a bit better.
