My mom is at Nspire Healthcare - Miami Lakes. She is in rehab. It has been good up to now. She is fine, she is content, and she is being well taken care of. The therapy is going well. She is doing a lot stronger now than when she went in, so she's come a long. The staff is fine. The people that I have dealt with are fine. They answer my questions, and they seem to be very friendly with her. They treat her well. She's happy with it. The place is a little old. It needs a little TLC and a little more modernizing and fixing up. The furniture is old and the facilities old, but it's clean. I have not tasted any of the meals, but I've seen them. Some things are better than others, but they look good to me. I guess that depends on your preference of what you like to eat or not, but they're not bad and they don't look bad. They smell good. I haven't seen the dining area because they bring the food to her room. This is a rehab site where my mom only goes to physical therapy and then the rest of the time, she's in her room. She has been there for four weeks now. Her Medicare is taking care of everything because it's a rehab.

Severely understaffed and I’ll equipped to care for fragile elderly patients .

My mother-in-law was at Nspire Healthcare - Miami Lakes. The intent of the nursing home was good, but they're too understaffed for the number of residents there. It was not a good fit for her. It's fairly outdated and you feel like you are in a hospital when you walk in. When we went to visit her one time, somebody else's diaper was in a bag on the floor. They're not too great. Some of the staff members were good, but some took forever. She did not like the food there. They had a lot of activities.
