My step-father moved into Eustis Senior Care. They were willing to work with us with what we had, and the situation we had. They are very caring and I like the place, the way they looked, the attention that it was given, and the explanation of the service itself. So far, I liked the way they are open, whatever time we need to go and visit, and always willing to work with us and help us in whatever they can. The staff was very pleasant, and very polite. And I'm for what I see when I look in, very caring with their patients. It is clean. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable for what it's needed.

I toured Eustis Senior Care. They're doing a good job taking care of the patients that are there, but it's not for me. The location was great because I could walk through a park, to the lake, go shopping, to restaurants, to church, and to the library. It's in the perfect location as far as I am concerned, but it's more of a nursing home and memory care. Everything is locked. The staff was very nice and helpful, and I think she realized that I was not going to be one of the residents. When I met her, I think she was thinking that I was looking for my mother or an older relative who needed memory care. I'm sure they had activities and everything. I was there at 2:00 in the afternoon also but they had already finished lunch and the patients that were there were either with a wheelchair or walkers, and they were just pretty much sitting around in the big room. Some residents were in bed. As far as I am concerned, they are all elderly and have dementia of some type. It's an older facility. They have a capacity of 30 people, and they have 25 residents at this time. The rooms are small. The space is cramped. The front gate is locked. They have an alarm on the front door. Some of the rooms were locked and except for two, they're all double occupancy. I feel sorry for the people but I'm not in the position of sharing a small cramped space with another person who is not going to be conversing or participating in activities or anything of that nature. If I took my own computer or my own TV or my own things and paid to have them hooked up and everything, I guess I could have them, but there's not that much space to have anything like that. She only had one room that was in my opinion large enough to be a single room where you could have a TV and a computer there. Some of the facilities have a computer for the residents to use free of charge. I think they keep them locked because it's on the second floor. They have no elevators, so it's up two flights of stairs, and the second floor is where the men stay. If I were in a single room, I would be one woman living on the floor where the men stay, and I would have to go downstairs to take a shower. So, it's not something that I would envision myself staying there. I think that for the population that they have, they do a good job, it's just not for me. So, I don't want to give them a bad rating. I just wanted to know the situation. It's a good facility for the type of people that need that kind of care.

I went to Eustis Senior Care. The staff seemed attentive and very nice. The location needed a definite upgrade. The rooms and the dining area were kind of small.

We visited last week to find a place for my aunt who is currently in an assisted living facility. We were impressed with the staff and this will be closer for us to visit.

All the attendants at Eustis Senior Care were visible and walking around. It's clean, nice, and neat. Everything's tidy. Everyone seemed friendly, very informative and answered all my questions. I liked the fact that it's a locked facility. It's secured. They had the code as you go in and once the door closes, you have to have a code to open it, which I liked. No one can wander out. I didn't see a courtyard. When you first walk up to the entry, there's a little patio area that's gated with a lock. The rooms were pretty big, had a nice sized bathroom, with two beds. They were clean. They were just watching TV because it was early in the morning. The dining room wasn't big, but it was suitable and nice for that size. The room I saw had a nice scent to it. There was no odor in the whole facility at all.

I did a tour of Eustis Senior Care. I didn't like it. I was turned off by it as soon as I went in. They were nice enough, but it wasn't where I'd want to put my mom. The staff was nice, and I only met one. It was not clean. It was very run down and has very small rooms. It's very overcrowded looking. I wouldn't have her there. The whole thing just wasn't right for me. It might be good for somebody else, but it just wasn't what I'm looking for.

Eustis Senior Care has what my friend needs. They have doctors and nurses that come in. Plus, the people are very friendly and very understanding. They allow him to have some personal stuff that he brought from the house, so my friend doesn't feel disconnected from his family. I like the environment. He also likes it, too. It was very nice. They have a list of activities which includes bingo, music, dancing, singing, and exercises. He didn't have enough money to be there, but they said that they were going to work with him.

My son will be moving into Eustis Senior Care next Thursday. It's not too far from my home, and I could visit him every day if I wanted. It looked clean. I visited the whole thing, and I think it's fine. It's a homey place. The owner of the place showed me around. From the street, it looks like an older house, but there is other stuff behind the house.

I wasn't impressed with Eustis Senior Care. It was nice, but it was not the place we were looking for. They need to improve the furniture and they need to have something for the people who stay there to do. They just sit in one room. The staff was nice and answered the questions I asked.

Eustis Senior Care was good as far as my father is concerned because he has dementia, but not for my mother. It was very nice and very clean, and I was impressed with the staff, but my Mom would not be happy there. She's very active and would want to have more people to be friends with and to do things with.

My mom was the resident of Eustis Senior Care. It was excellent. My mom was in and out of the hospital and was nearing the end of her life. They would feed her and made sure she was dressed and bathe. She's ALWAYS clean. The director actually came out of her way just to feed my mom. We were very blessed to find this place and they were really good to her. I had nothing bad to say at all. They kept my mom going. She was there about 7 to 8 months before she passed. I'd come in when she was eating lunch for different times, the food was good. They were trying to interact with her. I know towards the end they couldn't because that was the way my mom was. But they did the best they could. Entertainment comes in, paint her nails or something. It was excellent care. I was blessed to find them.

Eustis Senior Care seemed to have too many people. I was uncomfortable. It just didn’t seem spacious enough, but the people seemed to be quite content. It gave me the feeling of being very crowded and very tight. I was not too happy with it. The people seemed less able than ones I saw at other places. They had two small dining areas where they keep people who were less able in one and the more able people in another. It was just not newly painted or kept up.

Eustis was a privately run place that ended up being the only one that was within budget, but it had stairs that were not guarded. There will be a worry about getting up the stairs and falling.

We’ve placed my grandmother in Eustis Senior Care. It’s small, which was good for us. The staff was very caring. It was much more personable than the bigger facilities. It’s run by a couple of nurses, and they’re pretty much self-sufficient as opposed to some of the places we’ve seen that want you to do a lot of the work every time there’s a doctor’s appointment. They agreed to care for her the way we were caring for her, and she had unique activities compared to some of the other residents. That worked out very well, and it was just a good fit for us. Everything is customized depending on what they need because it’s small with only 30 residents. My grandma likes to walk, so they take her on walks around the neighborhood. She enjoys the food, and so far, it’s been very good and affordable, so you get good care at an affordable price, which is really hard to find.

Eustis Senior Care sent me deceitful information. They sent me a much exaggerated floor plan and I when I got there I couldn't barely turn around in the living room. She said there were plenty of storage place in the attic and when my son reached out and pulled the stairs down, it got a place full of installation. I didn't appreciate that.
