My mother (90 years old ) stayed at Westchester Gardens for 5 weeks. She had suffered heart failure and struggled walking and had to learn how to use a walker properly. The staff were attentive, empathetic and knowledgeable helping make my mothers speedy recovery successful. She is back home living independently. That was her goal. Choosing the right type of rehab can be your key to the success in your loved ones outcome. Westchester Gardens has a staff of fully-trained professionals who can help you make the right decision for yourself or a loved one. We highly recommend them! Thank you Westchester Gardens for helping my mother - you all rock!

Resident rooms are old looking. One particular weekend cna for residents was more interested in her phone than caring for the patients. Pretty annoying when walking through smelling urine.

My husband and I received care at Westchester Gardens between August and November 2016. The nurses/nursing care, therapists/therapy, and meal service are stellar. The facility is so clean! The medical staff are caring, knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. Hands down, the best SNF in this county.

A member of my family has been a resident at Westchester Gardens for over a year and the quality of care has decreased markedly since they first moved in. The nursing assistant staff, although very polite and qualified, is very understaffed. These homes are not cheap, but for the price here I expected much more. As a result of being understaffed the residents have to wait much longer than is reasonable for care-a complaint voiced many times by my family member. However, it is clear they do have the money to hire extra staff considering a new wood floor was put in throughout the facility. I wish this money had gone towards hiring extra staff so my loved had better care.

My husband is in Westchester Gardens Rehabilitation & Care. The care is very good. They have an outstanding therapy department. That is one of the reasons why I choose that facility. My husband has been there before. The staff is very good. The rooms are adequate. The food is good. It is close to my home.

I won’t recommend Westchester Gardens. My mom had a bad injury, and they just didn’t take care of her correctly. The people that took care of her was fine; it’s just the way the place was run. I had to take her out there twice and take her to the emergency. However, the rooms were fine, but the food wasn’t that great either. Physical therapy was excellent; that’s the only good thing I can say.

I was very impressed with Westchester Gardens. It was very clean and very well run. The staff was very polite. Everything was better than expected. We had used the facility before, so we were familiar with it. They got a little lunch bistro where you can have choices, and that made my dad really happy. He had physical therapy, and they had different types of entertainment, wine and cheese parties, music, and things related to sports.

My mother was in this facility for about 1 month during March 2014 for rehab of fractured hip. She was discharged and returned to her assisted living facility during one evening. The RN who saw her early the next morning called me and said my mother needed to go to the hospital immediately. She was suffering from respiratory distress causing fluid in her lungs and severe lower body edema. They nearly killed my mother - don't send anyone to Westchester Gardens. They should receive zero stars.

My mother was hospitalized and the hospital recommended West Chester Gardens. The staff there are doing a great job. I feel that my mom is really being attended well and cared for. The facility is nice and clean. She is situated in a semi-private room but will soon be moving to an assisted living facility in a little apartment.
