My husband is going to East Bay Rehabilitation Center. He's been there for rehab before. Everyone was just great. The rehab part was really good. Everybody was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The rooms were small but other than that, everything was nice and clean. They've got all kinds of activities to do, from playing games to doing crafts, to just social. He was there for three months. I was there when he had meals, and they seemed pretty good.

My friend was taken there for rehab. He was there 29 hours and fell 3 times. The third time he fell out of a wheelchair. An aide was sitting right next to him, but was busy working on her computer or phone and was not watching him. He was sent to the hospital, and I was given the wrong information. I had to track him down in the middle of the hurricane. When I went to pick up his clothes, after calling and telling them I was coming, no one seemed to know where his things were. It took me an hour to retrieve the clothes he wore from the hospital to the home. Do not send your loved one there.

My mother was here for rehab for 2 weeks. She had a few kind nurses and techs (Tonya and CJ stood out) but for the most part her experience was terrible. She was not given the level of care we expected for rehab. Late medicine schedule, poor bathing (Only 3 times in 2 weeks), never offered to help her brush her teeth, didn't empty catheter all the time. She took off her oxygen for 5 days before anyone noticed! It sometimes took a long time for nurses to answer a call button. The food was very subpar and offered very little to no fresh fruits and vegetables. All of this was brought to the administration's attention but service didn't improve.

They don't really encourage or give effort to bath the residents If the resident says no....there is no encouragement and left without a bath for months Also nurses are demonstrating bad moods....and snaps or yells at the old residents

Eastbay Rehabilitation has been wonderful to work with. My brother-in-law had to transfer from Eastbay in Florida to a facility in Indiana and everyone at Eastbay went above and beyond to make sure the transition was smooth. Deja was especially helpful and instrumental in her assistance and knowledge. I can’t thank Deja and the entire staff at Eastbay enough for their tremendous support and help throughout this process. My brother in law recieved wonderful care while at Eastbay and I received wonderful help in the transfer. Thank you Eastbay, you deserve a 5 Star review!

The nursing staff is exceptional. I am well due to their diligence and caring for all my needs. I would highly recommend this placement. It is a happy place to live as I will continue to be here.

I have visited this facility many times in a social setting, The Director and staff are VERY friendly and Caring, meeting all our friends needs. The Facility is well maintained, and brightened up with flowers and Landscaping. Rehab is remarkable, and everyone is so polite. It is a relief knowing that when I leave that my love one is so cared for in the BEST PLACE ! I highly recommend this facility for anyone that needs some extra time for rehab. A++

Our aunt was admitted into this rehab center for a few days after suffering with pneumonia and being released from the hospital. This rehab center was the #1 recommended facility by her doctor. For the few days she was there, they forgot to bring 3 of her meals. So we started visiting during meal times so we could make sure she received her meals. On several of those visits, she did not receive a meal and we had to go ask for a meal tray. Our family would recommend to your family to make sure meals are provided for your loved one at this facility. It rehab center was wonderful in every other way, but this is a very basic need that was not met on a fairly consistent basis.

My experience with East Bay Rehabilitation Center is very pleasant. My aunt is happy and comfortable. We can come whenever we want, and we are included in all of the activities that they have like bingo. The dining room is beautiful. She says the food is efficient. She is sharing a room, and she is happy with her roommate.

My dad was extremely ill, and the doctor recommended East Bay Rehabilitation Center. They were very good. The rooms were of good size, and they were clean.

East Bay is a very good rehab center, and my uncle is in there, but he will be moving to memory care. It looks good, and the care is good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have a lot of staff for therapy. The place is very clean, decorated nicely, and cheerful. The food is good, and if they served something that you don’t like, they would serve something.
