My dad moved into Highpoint at Cape Coral 2 weeks ago. It is a very nice memory care facility. The staff just seems to be caring and there's a lot of them in memory care, which is good. I just think that they don't have enough activities for him who is a little higher functioning. They offer bingo and movies, and they have a men's group. They have a salon and an exercise room.

I love Highpoint at Cape Coral. They're very friendly people. I didn't try the food, but the menu looked really nice. The facility is more established, but still very nice. The rooms were very beautiful inside. The staff was so caring and just wonderful with all the residents.

I'm glad that we went to Highpoint at Cape Coral and Mom is thinking about it now. The staff was very helpful. The place seems very nice. We got to see a one-bedroom and during the walkthrough, we saw people watching a movie.

I really like Highpoint at Cape Coral. It was amazing. Nate was the gentleman that showed me around and he showed me their gaming room and their movie theater. There was actually a class of line dancing where some of the seniors were dancing. He showed me the pool area and where they would eat. I was very impressed. It was very clean. It looked like everybody was having fun in the dancing class. The thing that really impressed me was when Nate would interact with the people that lived there. He knew everybody's name and he would joke with them. He would give them a hug and ask how they were doing. It seemed like they really care. The menus looked pretty impressive. Everybody that I was introduced to was very friendly. They seemed to interact with the residents really well, and that impressed me. They had courtyards, and they had a beautiful mural that I guess one of the residents had painted. They had a beautiful seating area outside. They had a really nice pool area and an upstairs balcony where you could go out and sit at night and look at the stars. It was gorgeous. Everybody had a big smile on their face. They were interacting with the residents that were there and that struck home with me. It was impressive. They weren't just doing their job. They actually seemed to get along like a big, happy family, and I liked that. The rooms were beautiful.

We toured Highpoint at Cape Coral. We met with the lady there, and she gave us a nice tour. She was very friendly and answered all our questions. Because my brother's a veteran, she gave us information on a lot of the veterans' stuff that I didn't get from the VA, which was helpful. The price was pretty good. It's within the range of everybody else, so it wasn't really high. It's a fairly new facility, so it was very clean and had a lot of places he could go to eat and have activities. They had a movie theater, and they had a pool there which is very unusual. It was very nice. The living atmosphere there was nice. It was a new facility, so it was nice and clean. Everything was easily accessible, and there was also access to outdoors, like gardens and pool, and stuff like that. When we visited, we were kind of in between meals. There wasn't a lot of activity going on.

We moved into Highpoint at Cape Coral, and we love it here. I highly recommend this place, but we had to wait to get in because they don't have many openings. It is a great place. It's a little pricey, but they include a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with an ice maker, cable television, and WiFi. We have air conditioning, and all the utilities are included. I have a 1-bedroom apartment and a screened-in patio off of my bedroom. I have a drive-in shower where you can go right in if you're in a wheelchair. They have somebody come in every week to clean. You put your garbage outside the room and they collect it three days a week. The place is extremely clean all over. There's always someone running a sweeper or cleaning up or wiping. They had someone in the elevator the other day, cleaning up the prints in the elevator. They bring in entertainment. Two days ago, they had a doo-wop band, a man and a woman singing. Last night, they had a woman dressed in vintage clothes and told about different characters in history. They have a swimming pool and they have exercise classes there. They have a yoga room, they have all kinds of equipment where you can work out. They have a little putt-putt course. They have a card room, a library with all kinds of books, a pool table, and yoga. They also take you to doctor appointments. The people are extremely friendly, nice, and outgoing. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. I came back from Walmart and they have a metal cart and they help you bring your things up to your room. I had several packages delivered that were heavy, and one of the staff who's a bus driver brought them up to my room. You get a key to your room and a key to your mailbox. They give you a security bracelet that opens the doors when you come in and out, so nobody can just walk in off the street. The food here is positively delicious, and a good variety, too. We have breakfast every day and a choice of lunch or dinner. And then we have snacks at night. It's a five-star place, literally. It is expensive, but it's worth the money. If you go home and you pay for your gas, electricity, water sewer, cable TV, Wi-Fi, plus buy all your food, do all your own cooking, and pay for your lot rent or your mortgage, it pretty much evens out.

I visited this community and was pleasantly surprised. The staff are very friendly, and the residents are extremely happy. Highpoint at Cape Coral is more of a family environment as the assisted living and memory care are smaller than most of the other communities in the area. They also have lots of activities for your loved one to participate in. I had the pleasure of eating a meal and the food is top notch. It is served restaurant style. What more could you want for your loved one? I highly recommend Highpoint.

I went to Highpoint at Cape Coral. That was new, and that was built in 2019. The people were nice. The tour guide was very nice. It was very tempting to move there, but I was looking for the room size. They offered a lot. They have a pool. The outdoors was very nice, very pretty.

My father is in Highpoint at Cape Coral. It's clean, it's new, and the staff is wonderful. The food is awesome. He enjoys the food. It's just been a wonderful experience for him all the way around. There's a small refrigerator in the apartment because they provide all the meals and snacks, so he doesn't have to cook anything. They've got daily activities. It's a large facility, but it's good. We don't have any complaints at all. They're reasonably priced for what you get. They've got a pool and a nice little pavilion outside that they can sit under, and it's very nice.

I went to Highpoint at Cape Coral. It was of average accommodation. I found it to be a little bit more sterile than the other places. The staff was very nice and friendly and answered all the questions. The rooms were average, they had their own baths. The dining area seemed to me that little bit more TLC, but it was OK. It was adequate. But it needed refreshing for the floor. They had a social room, and that was relatively nice. They did have a fitness room, and that was OK. It was clean. It was certainly tidy. It appeared to be maintained and just needed to be refreshed, I think. It looked like I was more in a hospital or rehab or something like that as opposed to a home.

Highpoint at Cape Coral was the first place I went to. The guy took me around and answered all my questions. I didn't like the place, but everything was good. It's a nice, clean place. People were busy and I was quite happy with the way he showed me everything. I didn't like the rooms. When you walk in, you walk into the living room. It's very narrow, it is long, maybe 12 feet long, but it's only seven feet wide. It just doesn't give you a good feeling. You don't need to furnish it, they had some furniture, but very poor quality and the whole thing looked very bad. There was a little kitchenette, and just the way that things are laid out, I did not find them very appealing. The place is very clean, and I used the bathroom that was very clean and they do have a linen service. They did take care of your weekly linen, but you've got to do your own laundry. They have a washing and drying machine there. They give you one meal a day, which is very good, and then they open up the kitchen from seven to seven, and if you want something from the kitchen in terms of cereal or breakfast in the morning, it is available to you. I think that was very good, to have a nice little dining room. That was very good. They do have a fitness center, and I do not like that. It is very poorly equipped. They only have some treadmills, but they don't have anything in terms of weight. So I thought that was very skimpy. Also, the number one thing is their location. It's just like a big parking lot, there's no place you can go for a walk. There's no outdoors there at all. It's just like in an open parking lot and it doesn't look very attractive.

Highpointe at Cape Coral has pretty much the same amenities as they do all over, although I was not overly impressed with the facility overall. It just didn't appeal to me, and to compare it to others, it wasn't quite up to standard. There was nothing wrong with it, but it didn't measure up to what I've seen. They have a place where you can have a continental breakfast, they have coffee going almost all morning into the early afternoon and you could go and have a piece of pastry. The staff was fine. We have a 7-room house, so I prefer a villa, and the apartments in Highpointe at Cape Coral were kind of small. In a 2-bedroom apartment there, the master bedroom was sufficient but the second bedroom was just too tiny. There wasn't much you can do with the second bedroom except if you want to make it into a den or something like that or just put a single bed in there not a double bed or a larger bed.

It was a very, very nice place, but it was just a little too expensive. It's behind a shopping center, and it had more of a clubhouse type atmosphere. I felt that my aunt and uncle would feel a little uncomfortable there, but I left there with a good feeling. They had a library and computer area.

It is brand new and very clean. The people were very courteous, and they seemed to answer all the needs that my father-in-law would have. The rooms are small, but adequate. They're in lockdown, and my wife and I haven't been able to get over there to see what's going on. The doctors are visiting him, and he's getting physical therapy every day. The staff is very nice.

There isn't much left to the unknown. The Staff here are all very cooperative & more than helpful. They will go out of their way to help you & will answer any questions you may have promptly. The nursing staff is top rate and so are the people working at the front desk. My father has only been there 1 week under coronavirus lockdown and I can sleep at night knowing that he is being well taken care of. Don't have second thoughts here. You need to have peace of mind knowing that your loved ones are safe and in good care. Once the lockdown is lifted and I am able to see my father, be able to talk to him and have a meal with him, I will be more than happy to do a continued review.
