My grandmother has been living in Point East Condominium. We love that they have a lot of activities for members in the community. They have daily activities that go from the water gym to dancing. They also have a bowling alley in the place. They have a community center that the people actually use all the time. They have challenges board games and chess matches. It's a very big property. However, you don't have to walk more than two minutes to get to the pool location with a barbecue. They're always perfectly clean. It's nice in that sense. Maybe 80% of the apartments have a water view front, either from one side or the other, so that's also really nice. It's very serene. Regarding the personnel, the way they have it set up, they have cleaning people per area. They get to know the residents in that specific area, which is good because at least the two cleaning people that go through the building where my grandmother was almost always have been the same people. They don't change the personnel that much. They go and talk with them, and they visit them. It's not that they just let them live by themselves, and they try to get them to know their neighbors, and that's something that the personnel within the community do, which is good. My grandmother's apartment is an 800-square-foot apartment. It's not small; it's not large. It's a single bedroom. She has all she would need even though she doesn't use it much because the staff would give her breakfast and lunch every single day. They also have that service within their community. They have a common kitchen, so that they don't have to worry about cooking. It's also really good food. They have community rooms. My grandmother had a knitting club until about a year ago, and she would teach knitting and crocheting to other residents. She wouldn't do it in her apartment because they have common areas that are very well maintained and are available 24/7, so she would use those common areas to do her classes. They have activities inside and out. It's amazing. There is much more than what you can actually do. Compared to other places I've seen, it's also cheap for what it is.
