    I visited this facility

This is subsidized public housing for seniors in a big highrise. It's located in the middle of downtown, so parking is very tough for visitors. The building is older, but has been maintained pretty well. The whole place has an urban feel to it"”both because of the location on a busy street, and because the neighborhood has a lot of foot traffic. Some people would appreciate the activity all around, but for others, it may be too noisy and busy. There is a corner store and several takeout restaurants nearby, but not necessarily healthy food choices. When you enter, it has a dated look"”with a sterile feel, mostly white and gray, with few individual touches. The units are one-bedrooms of a pretty good size, but they are very basic, with no special touches or features. There are no common rooms for people to gather"”and a security guard enforces the need to "keep moving." That makes it safe for seniors, but it doesn't feel particularly inviting. Residents would need to be pretty independent to live here.
