Ivy Gables Senior Living did not have an availability in memory care. They kind of had a hybrid program in between assisted living and memory care, but they felt my dad needed a little more care than what they provided in that hybrid situation. However, if we were able to put him there, it would have been wonderful. They were professional, friendly, and informative. The facility was roomy. There's lots of areas for the residents to be able to go and move around. The room was sufficiently sized and clean. They had structured activities. It was perfect.

Ivy Gables was very nice. The person that I had contact with was lovely and very caring. She wanted to make sure it was the right match for my mom. She went out of her way completely. It's just like home. But it was little overpriced for us right now. I was there during lunch, and the food smelled good. I saw people in activities. They seemed very happy. It's a very small place, but it was very personal. They have a lovely garden area. The place was lovely. They also handed me a box of homemade cookies. It was very quaint, and it was very nice.

The visiting experience with Ivy Gables was wonderful and the person who showed me around was great. The place looked fine, but their residents were more non-mobile, so it just wasn't quite a good fit. They just need to improve on communication because I gave them all the patient's information, but I never heard from them again.

Ivy Gables' staff seems very caring and very accommodating. The food samples are excellent. They have single rooms and very well-appointed, clean, and attractive surroundings.

The rooms were small in Ivy Gables. However, it was decorated beautifully and clean. I didn’t see a lot of interactions; I only saw six people, and they looked like they had memory issues. They have a comprehensive program for medication and care, but the price is a little high. The dining area was very nice and looked dignified and classy.

Our mom has been at Ivy Gables since May 2015. She is 94 yr old and has been having ups and downs. The staff has been with us for everything. They are compassionate and caring. Due to the intimate size of the facility noone gets lost in the crowd. The food is fantastic and thought is taken for the indiviual taste. The room is a nice side and private. We are completely satisfied with everything at Ivy Gables. I could not recommend it more.

After 4 months of in-home care for our Mom, we decided to look at some assisted living facilities in our area. Although very nice, the ones we visited seemed a little overwhelming to Mom. A friend told us about a newly renovated facility in Arden that had just re-opened. We decided to check it out. Thus began our love affair with Ivy Gables, a beautifully appointed 24 room senior living facility nestled in the community of Ardentown which just happens to be 5 minutes from our home. We particularly liked that it was a small facility, knowing that it would be more comforting to Mom. Of course, what’s a beautiful facility without warm and friendly people to bring it to life!! The staff at Ivy Gables outshines all of its beautiful appointments! They are top notch, professional folks who welcomed us and have went the extra mile to make our Mom (and us) feel at home! Knowing that our Mom is safe and in the hands of such kind and loving folks, has given us such peace of mind!”
