I chose Atria Greenridge for Mom because of the price. There's nothing we don't like, it's very nice. It's very clean. They offer a lot of services. It was comparable to places that were much more expensive. The staff was very attentive and responded quickly. The food is good, and some are better than others. You order restaurant-style with some daily specials and then there's a regular menu they have every day. They have a salon, a library, and transportation.

My mother-in-law is a resident of Atria Greenridge Place. She has Alzheimer's or dementia, and we've been trying to keep her on the assisted living side. So, we pay for an apartment there, but we also pay for round-the-clock care on top of that. We have somebody who comes in 24 hours a day. There's another service, another company that is providing service to supplement the service that Atria provides. They do provide care, a clean location, good food, and staff all the time. The staff was great, always clean, attentive, and pleasant to be around. We have no issues with the staff. The food has been sometimes an issue. My mother-in-law has celiac disease, and their ability to provide a nutritious variety of foods for her has been a challenge. The atmosphere is welcoming. In Atria, seniors are either attending activities or engaged with each other, unlike the mindless lining up of seniors in wheelchairs that I have seen in other places.

My sister just moved into Atria Greenridge Place. The people have been very, very nice and accommodating. It seems like a wonderful place. It seems like she's going to be happy there. They've been very helpful and very nice in admitting her and the paperwork went pretty smoothly. The grounds are very nice. The room is small, it's just a studio, but it's going to be fine for her. There are nice common areas where people congregate and the place looks well-kept, clean, and very nice. The residents seem very nice, too. We've met several of them, and they like the place. I'm very impressed and I feel good about leaving her there. There were several levels of rooms available. We picked the studio because we're trying to keep the cost down. She didn't need a big place. We were happy with the choice. The activity calendar looks quite extensive in terms of the things that they offer. They have exercise and other arts and crafts. It looked like there were lots of activities every day that were available to all the residents, which I thought was great. She was excited about some of the things she saw on the calendar coming up. There was a beauty salon available if you needed haircuts or whatever. There was a nice library, and my sister was going to go down and check it out. There was a nice common room. People were working on puzzles and games. There was a movie going on. They had very nice grounds. People were sitting outside under umbrellas even though it was hot. I'm very pleased with the place. I only had lunch there once when I came in. I've looked at the menus they had posted for the rest of the month, and I was impressed with them. I thought I could eat here every day. It was just really, really nice food, and the lunch I had was wonderful, too. It was laid out very nicely. Value for money is excellent. At this point, she seems happy there and I'm happy.

Atria Greenridge Place offers 2 separate living communities (assisted living and Life Guidance/Memory Care). If you are looking for Memory care for your loved one, I would stay away from Atria Greenridge place. They are understaffed and the residents spend the majority of the day in front of a tv. Managements focus is 100% on the assisted living side while the Memory care residents are treated like an afterthought. Limited social activities, very limited outings, limited time spent outside. Management refuses to allow memory care residents to be brought over to the assisted living side for any activities because "the assisted living residents don't want them over there". Moving a loved one into memory care is a difficult decision. The picture that was painted during the "sales pitch" is very different from the services we received.

The tour experience at Atria Greenridge Place was very good. It was informative. The tour guide took us through all the living areas. There were two model units that were open and available, so he showed us those. It was a 1-bedroom and a 2-bedroom. The units that we saw were really good. We also saw the dining room and the country kitchen; both were really nice. Overall, the place was very, very well-kept. It was a nice experience. They were doing bingo at the time we were there. We talked to the maintenance guy, and he was very nice.

Atria Greenridge Place is the one I am leaning towards right now. It's the one closest to me, which is what my dad wants, and the community is lovely. It's very much like the kind of facility that you would want your parents to be in. The staff was also lovely. I liked them a lot. They all seemed very friendly, helpful, kind, and dedicated.

I toured Atria Greenridge Place for my mom. They have very friendly people, and it was very homey. They have nice dining rooms and great meal options. We didn't have a meal, though. We got to go inside rooms and meet people living there and things like that. We met the recreation director who gave us the tour. It was just a really good feel for the place. They weren't able to provide transportation as they would like to during Covid; they were limited. And in terms of the clergy, I think they have a Catholic priest who comes in every Sunday morning. My mom is not Catholic, and they just said that's what they have. When we don't have a pandemic, they would probably offer transportation to a local church. It's just something that sits out at me. But the staff was top-notch. I would feel very comfortable with a family member being there.

My dad will be moving into Atria Greenridge Place. It's very bright and cheery. The people were very receptive and helpful. The activities looked great for the seniors. Everybody had masks. They were following all the protocols, as far as I could see.

Atria Greenridge Place was very nice. It's just the location and the amount of floor space didn't fit our needs. It wasn't big enough for accommodating two twin beds and things of that nature. For what was available, it didn't fit our needs. The staff that we met, and the people we talked to were very professional. The facilities were very clean and nicely decorated. The way the rooms were set up were really good. It's just that some places afforded us more space for the beds that we wanted to bring, which was a big factor in our making a decision. They provided transportation. They also were more expensive.

We went to Atria Greenridge Place. It was very nice. It was very large. For me, it was too big for my dad, but it seemed like a beautiful facility. The people were nice. The tour was great. I just chose a different spot. The staff was great. She was very thorough. She answered all my questions. She took a lot of time with us and the visit was good. They had a few different types of rooms, they had a lot of community areas, they had a private dining room, they did have a memory care facility, they had a beauty shop there. It felt like a hotel.

I like Atria Greenridge Place a lot. I thought it was nicer. The rugs and the dining room were really nice. It was more updated, too, than the other place we visited. It costs $2000 less compared to it, yet it's a lot nicer. They showed us 3 rooms and they were really tiny, which is probably why they are a lot less expensive. The place was so clean, though, and the staff was very nice, very knowledgeable and very friendly.

At first as I was a little nervous about making the switch to downsize from my condo, but I absolutely love it here! The grounds are lovely and the view from my apartment is beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive to everyone. I've been a painter for as long as I can remember so I am so happy to partake in the art class programs and all other wonderful programs Atria has to offer. There's always something to do! And I am so grateful to have made so many new friends here in the Greenridge community, I could spend all night talking around the dinner table with my fellow residents. :)

A close friend of mine has been a resident at Atria Greenridge Place for over 3 years now. I love to visit her because the staff and managers are always so friendly and helpful. I can see that her mental and physical health has dramatically improved since moving to Atria. Thank you!

The Atria was very nice when you walk in, beautiful grounds, beautiful entryway, and everybody was lovely. Some of the apartments were upgraded, but some of them weren't, it all depended on which ones were available. The kitchen was just little kitchenettes. It was beautiful, but it's only a tiny kitchenette with two tiny counter areas, one of which you needed to put a microwave on because there was no microwave there. The staff member that toured me was wonderful. She was awesome. She was nice and she was pleasant.

I went to Atria Greenridge Place. They had both independent and assisted living facilities. Our experience was very good. The facilities were nice. I met a couple of the staff, and they seemed nice and professional. It seemed like a great place. It's new and kind of typical of these places. They had common areas that were spacious for activities and exercise, offices for the assisted living staff, a dining hall, and a library. They had all the usual things you would expect, and they all looked nice. It's a fairly new building, so it looked like it was in good shape. I saw the menus, and they seemed to be perfectly good. The rooms were small, but nice.

My mother-in-law is at Atria Greenridge Place. We have not been able to visit her yet because of COVID, but so far so good. It is near family members. They asked us not to come by for a couple of weeks so she could get used to it. It is memory care, so she did not really want to go, but they've been working tirelessly to make her comfortable there. She seems happy, so we're happy. The staff are fabulous, amazing. Because it is COVID, you have to do everything in Zoom. They were really professional, and they took care of us.

My mother moved into Atria Greenridge Place. We chose it because of the price and the proximity to our house, and it has a very small memory care unit. She just moved in so I really don't know the staff yet, but they seemed nice. Her room is nice-sized. It has a nice bathroom, it's a walk-in with a seat which is good for her.

We went to Atria Greenridge Place. They have pleasant people greeting you, welcoming you, giving you the overview of the place, touring you, showing you the different rooms that are available, and going over the activities that they have. The rooms were clean, very nice, reasonably sized, and they had a stove and a capability for a microwave. The price was competitive with the other ones, there was a little negotiation that goes on, and no complaints about them. It was very well kept. Every time someone leaves, they go in there, they paint, they remove the rugs, they put new rugs down; they do this and it looks like a brand-new apartment when you go in.

The staff at Atria Greenridge Place are very helpful. They have a lot of amenities. My dad says the meals are better there than where he was at, and the level of care is better. They've all been very helpful, courteous, they're nice, and willing to work with you. The value for the money is average.

My father-in-law is in Atria Greenridge Place. He's kind of independent, but we have a couple of extra services that we've added on for him. I've been happy with them. The staff is excellent. They're always there to help out. Even when he was having issues with his phone and we couldn't get in touch with him they went in and helped him out so we could call him. Everything seems beautiful in there. His room is very nice. They have activities, but right now, stuff isn't really being done because of COVID. They've very limited. Even with their dining room, they're still bringing meals to some of the residents. They are rotating the people that go into the dining room.

My dad stayed at Atria Greenridge Place for a few weeks. The place was beautiful and the people were nice. It was worth everything. My dad's room was great, big, nice, and better than some of the other places. The only negative was the walls were thin, so you could hear a lot from inside the room. They had a lot of activities, games, and big TVs so people could sit and watch together.

Atria Greenridge Place was nice and small. The rooms were clean but small for us. The person who assisted me was very good. There were some residents in the library playing games. People were actively involved with each other in conversation. The dining area looked fine.

Atria Greenridge Place was very nice, up-to-date, and sunny. It is a lovely place, but it's a little too far away from my house. Nevertheless, They provide three meals, housekeeping, transportation to doctors' appointments and shopping, cable television, air-conditioning, and many social activities. We looked at a single bedroom, but there was a studio and a 2-bedroom available as well. The young man that gave us the tour was very accommodating and nice.

Atria Greenridge Place was the one I was most impressed with for my mother's need at that time. I would recommend that place. I was impressed with the whole layout of the place. Everybody seemed happy. The staff was very friendly. The cafeteria space was very open, wide, airy, and clean. The studio rooms that I was shown for my mom were very nice and very well laid out. My overall impression was very that if we reached the point that we had to move her into assisted living, that would be the place that suited her. In the room that I saw, the bathroom was very wide. It could easily accommodate a wheelchair, and you could easily actually roll into the shower. It had place where you could sit. The bathroom could accommodate elderly very well. They were willing to take my mother there for a week, and the gentleman there -- Scott, the administrator or manager -- was willing to help look into other benefits and checked periodically.

I’m sorry to say that the quality of life at the Atria has deteriorated over the past few years. The revolving door of upper management is not a good sign. Communication with families of residents has not been good. The former Engage Life Director, Jeremy, was fantastic. He always had programs going on, stayed in touch with families, and made events fun (the Hawaiian luau and holiday parties that he ran were fabulous!). Right now, I have never met nor have I seen the new Manager of the Atria (Scott?), the Engage Life Director, or the Business Manager. These are all people that I chatted with and used to see every time I visited my parent. The nursing staff, the CNA’s, the wait staff in the Dining Room are all very respectful of the residents and seem to work very hard. However, there seems to be a big disconnect between how they treat residents and how management handles themselves. It makes me really sad since we had such a good experience with Cheryl (former Business Manager), Sandra (she was the person who actually came to my parent’s rehab facility to recruit), Jeremy, and Jeff (who handled the snow storms of 2 years ago better than we ever could have hoped). There seem to be a lot of empty apartments right now and it’s not surprising since I honestly can say that I could not in good conscience refer anyone’s parent to the Atria based on the way things are now. We did refer someone two years ago when we were very happy with the service, but that is not the case anymore. In addition, the quality of the food has gone downhill. I fully understand that working with the elderly population has its challenges. However, people like Holly M. seem to genuinely love what they do and care deeply about the quality of life of the residents. In my opinion, everyone in a management position at the Atria should have the same attitude about providing a warm, welcoming, intellectually stimulating environment for people who are paying a lot of money to live there. If rents and cost for personal care services go up by much in January because management fails to keep the apartments rented, it will be a big problem for a lot of families. I hope someone who genuinely cares about the Atria reads this and tries to make positive changes.

The staff at Atria was very professional and did a good job greeting us and showing the facility. The rooms were very clean and they have different size rooms. It's very efficient manner for someone needing an assistant type of apartment. The food looked and smelled good and it seemed like the residents were enjoying their meals. They had a very robust recreation for the residents.

I had a loved one here and I will say it was very unorganized. The nursing staff has a high turn over rate and made mistakes with my loved ones meds. Made med changes without notifying me and coordinating the van for appointments was beyond a nightmare. Corporate has a high change over rate as well I believe because when I would complain it was playing phone tag with a different one. Unsatisfied

I found an assisted living facility back in February for my mother. We don’t have any problems with Atria Greenridge. We chose the place because their evaluation was to put her in assisted living as opposed to memory care which we felt is a better fit. As far as the atmosphere goes, it’s just fine. It’s a very nice and very clean place. She has a small accommodation to what she’s used to in the house but she has managed to make it work for her. They’ve been very helpful and anything that she needs they’re very attentive and quick to respond. So far as I know, she doesn’t take part in a lot of entertainment but they seemed to have plenty. I would recommend them to others because of the level of attentiveness that they have for their residents. Even though it’s a large facility they called everybody by name and they address their needs.
Do not come here!

Find another place. It looks impressive but the food is really poor quality. There is huge turnover at the top. The aids are wonderful but the coordination of the patients meds is a nightmare. Mom was there 3 years and loved it but it's very hard for the families to coordinate care with them if the person is sick or their meds need to change.

Thank you for your feedback. I am happy to hear that your mom loved our community and caregivers. I am sorry, however, to hear of your dissatisfaction with the food and medication coordination. Although we have had some transition in our community, we strive to make changes that are in the best interest of our residents. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your experience with us in more detail so that we can constantly improve the experience of our residents and their families. Please feel free to email us directly at customerservice@atriaseniorliving.com and please include the community name and the specifics of your review.

My father was in Atria Greeridge Place. The place was a very beautiful, fabulous and wonderful. It was easy to get to. They also had a lot of amenities there. The staff were fabulous and helpful with the transition from where he had been. They regularly would update me if he has to have a change in any kind of meds. There was a very nice connection with the family. The problem was that his wife was not willing to pay as much so she had to transfer him to another place.

I had considered placing my mother in The Atria but I had chosen another facility. They were comparable and either of them would have been a good fit. They were both beautiful, gorgeous, have lovely dining room, and they have plenty of activities for the residents to do. So they were neck and neck in regards to what we were looking for, but the bottom line was the price.

My grandmother lived here for a little over a year before she had to go live in a hospital. The living areas and common areas were very clean and neat, and it never smelled. You could literally see a man wet himself, but the response was so quick that you would never smell a foul odor. The only thing I could complain about was the staff. There were several teenaged girls working there during this time and they were all stuck-up, snobby girls who were unwilling to help anybody around there. They were just down-right mean to myself, my family, and, most importantly, my grandmother. I never plan on going there again and pray to God that my kids never send me there.
