My aunt is at Mystic Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. They're superb. They do everything right. My aunt was there when she was recovering from surgery, and at that time their care and concern for her and desire to get her back on her feet and walking were so good. Their encouragement, the nursing staff, and social services staff are great, and they contact the family with updates or any questions whatsoever. My aunt has got real memory challenges at this point, and they are so good at dealing with her, talking to her, picking up the pictures in her room, and soliciting conversation. This is of course in a time when I can't go see her, so I can't help them know who my aunt was before her memory failed. They are doing a phenomenal job of supporting her and outside family who cannot come in the building.

1 room had nails sticking out of tiles in bathroom.2 bathroom had poor placement of grab bars.3 beds outdated. 4 staff give the impression they care more about billing more than people. 4 every time we went there most residents were all in bed all times of the day. lobby looks good but the other side of the door tells a different story. All I can say is judge for yourself.

I was looking for long term care facilities for my mother in law who is starting to show signs of dementia. She currently lives with me, but I feel she needs 24 hour care. I have heard amazing things about Mystic Healthcare from friends and family members. I called the facility and they gave me all the information I needed/asked for. They sent me their long term care application, pens, brochures, their monthly recreation calendar, as well as their menu for the week. I am very pleased with the way Mystic Healthcare has helped me.

My mother-in-law is in Mystic Healthcare and Rehab. It is very clean. The staff is fantastic. The staff members are so excellent, which is really important when you're in a place that has people that genuinely care about you. I couldn't rate them better. The dining area is nice, clean, and welcoming. However, the food is not up to par. They serve sandwiches way too much. They could really improve on their food. They do bingo once in a while, which is nice, but they're a little short on activities. They could use some more activities for the residents.
