My wife moved to Farmington Station Senior Living. This particular facility is a purple flag facility. It was the first one in the state of Connecticut. It has a lot of staff. This particular unit has a lot of activities, which I was also interested in. I wanted to make sure that she wasn't just going to be sitting around and doing nothing. They have won awards for their food. Their food is supposedly very, very good. I tasted it, and I have to admit, it's really good. The staff is extremely helpful. They have remodeled the whole facility. It's modern and has a lot of amenities. She has a private room with a shared bath with the room next door. It's fairly large. It's going to be quite comfortable for her.

We are leaning towards Farmington Station Senior Living. The gentleman that runs the facility was great. I like the way he interacts with the residents that were there. He seems genuinely concerned for the well-being of those individuals. The place itself was beautiful and clean, and they've done some updating painting, and putting new carpets in. They keep the place well-kept. Their dining and food options were many. We visited their assisted living portion, the rooms were very nice, well-equipped, and had nice bathrooms. They have a movie theater, multiple community rooms, and a fitness area.

The facilities at Farmington Station Senior Living are beautiful. It's clean and the staff is cheerful. They seem to be very happy to be there. There are eyes on everyone. The food looked wonderful, too. Everything looked great. Since my dad has some dementia going on, we started him out in the Compass Memory Care section. They have shared rooms there. They have activities to do. It's almost like going on a cruise ship. The people are just fabulous and they are the best ones that I've seen out of anybody. The facility is mostly on one floor. There is an elevator to get to the second floor and there are outside areas. It's a little bit pricey, but I think it's worth it when I see the care that the staff was giving to all the residents and how they address everyone, not just my dad. You can't put a price on it if you're not able to be there for your parents. That means a lot.

I went to Farmington Station Senior Living. It was nice. They had an actual theater, which I like, to watch movies and stuff, which I thought was pretty cool. It was just the most expensive. The staff was nice and friendly. The dining room is nice, but I didn't try the food.

My mother is a resident of Farmington Station. She is in the assisted living area where she goes down for her meals and they give her medication. You can have other services added, whether it's showering, or a few other things, but it's not a high nursing care place. They say they are constantly coming in several times a day. They make sure the bathrooms are clean, their rooms are clean, and they also have many activities. My mother has been very happy there. They have different musicians come in. They have art activities, a movie almost every evening, and they have a cocktail hour. They also have a van to bring you to a doctor's appointment, or if they have a group going to the store. They handled Covid well; In the beginning, everyone was isolated. They had to have their meals in the rooms and so forth. Then, they were able to have two people at a table to eat. They do not have to wear their masks now, but all of the people that work there have to wear them. Any guests must wear their masks at all times. They're very caring. There were a couple of times my mother had to go for radiation treatment. She has cancer, and my brother wasn't in the country at the time and I'm in South Carolina. They brought her, and then afterward, they took her for ice cream, so it wasn't such a bad experience. They were very caring.

My visit with Farmington Station was pretty good. The staff members were very nice, very attentive, and very professional. Everything was fine. It was relatively new, well maintained, and well cared for, very well kept, and very well organized, so it was very positive. My friend said the food was excellent. They have exercise classes, bingo, and happy hour.

It was nice and brand-new but not for my parents. They had really nice amenities. I thought the activities should have been bigger and more inviting. They had a nice dining hall and a nice little area that overlooked the garden where you could go get coffee and cookies. They had a big entry way where the piano was and a fireplace.

It had everything from independent care to hospice. The staff was very good. I am going to bring my wife there since I liked it very much. They gave us dinner, and the food was very good. They have a movie theater and go on bus trips.
