Welcome to Twin Maples Health Care! Twin Maples Health Care Facility is 44 bed skilled nursing facility with 22 semi-private rooms in a home-like setting. We are located in the rural town of Durham, Connecticut, in a peaceful, wooded, beautifully landscaped setting. For exercise, fresh air, or both, you can stroll along our walking path. In the evening, you can socialize in our screened-in patio.
At Twin Maples we strive to surpass each resident’s individual needs in a safe and secure environment where the residents feel loved and a sense of belonging. The care delivered at Twin Maples goes beyond simply assisting with physical needs. We encourage independence, build self-esteem and self-actualization.

Our home cooked meals are graciously served and can accommodate all nutritional needs. Daily meal selections always include an alternate choice. Our snacks and dessert choices are both healthy and delicious.
As social interaction is important at any age, Twin Maples provides intergenerational programs throughout the year. For mentally and physically stimulating activities, we provide programs such as socials, movement therapy, aromatherapy, cooking, trivia, games, holiday celebrations, barbecues, manicures, religious services, outdoor walks, movies, happy hour, reminiscing group, and for those pet lovers, we have animals who are part of the Twin Maples’ family.
