I really want to give no stars. My father in law died and I truly believe that this place contributed to this happening sooner than it should have. Same as a few of the other reviews, he was diabetic and kept being fed foods he shouldn't have. We kept asking for changes and this never happened. This put him in worse health than when he arrived. We also had to keep leaving message after message to even get anyone to call us back. The rooms were dirty and not cleaned, proven by things on the floor that were never moved in over 2 weeks. Stay away!

This facility should be shut down. It smells like urine all the time. My father when we visited had been sitting in a Bowel movement for over an hour and when we asked for a aide to help it took another 45 mins for them to come and smelled like he hadn't showered in a week. The billing department is a hot mess, his bill was way above what they said it would be and they are not willing to work with you or disclose their charges and what they are billing to insurance. Staff is always very kind, but you can tell they are over worked.

My mother came from Avamere, which wasn’t that great. The people were pretty nice, but it was more of a nursing home, so it wasn’t a good match for her. It was a really old, dark building with a very strong urine smell. Mom didn’t like it very much. It is not a facility for somebody with Alzheimer’s or dementia, so it didn’t really work too well. The discharge plan was very good. The place was really ugly and smelled of urine all the time.

The worst place ever. It smells so bad in there you can't breath. I wouldn't want my pet to even stay one night in this place. It's horrific. The showers are full of mold. The urine smell is so bad that it takes your breath away. The food is un edible. My dad was up there for rehab and threw up his food it was so bad. We had to end up taking him all his meals. He finally checked himself out early because he couldn't take it any longer.

HORRIBLE!!! My father was sent here for rehab and the experience was terrible. They did not provide him with food or water during his stay, and even gave him medication that belonged to another patient!!! Also, it is dirty, the staff is clueless and quite frankly, they should be shut down by the state.

WARNING.....If you care about your family member . ...do not send them to this facility I can tell you it's has many faults, under staffed , what staff they have is not negligible....my family member was life threatening and they had no clue how to handle that....DIRTY, the dishes and silverware were not clean...they did not take care of my loved one at all. I could go on and on ....JUST DONT DO IT!!!!!! They should be shut down!!!!!!!!!

Brighton Care Center wasn't the best place in the whole world but it was the only place in Brighton. My father's blood pressure was falling and he was having a hard time doing physical therapy there. It was depressing. The work attitude of the staff was adequate but I don't think anybody went out of their way for him.

I needed a Nursing Home for my 92 yr old Mother. I did not know of any in my area. Brighton Care Center is really just like home for my Mom. I recommend them for rehabilitation and/or long term care. The staff is very friendly and attentive.
